Why did you pick this product vs others?:It's bright, it's quiet, it's light weight, and the quality of light is every bit as good as fixtures that cost 3x the price. Solid metal body feels durable and well made. On-board controls are easy to operate, but I haven't tried to the app yet so no comment on that. The included case is good quality and makes the value over the top. There is no reason not to have at least one of these in your kit.

As a long-time (2+ years) user of these lights, I can say that they've held up extremely well. After some initial challenges with boards frying, the replacement "new generation" CB60 is working great. They're bright, color-accurate, and a great value given all of the competition in this space.I own several Neewer products from camera cages, to focus pulls, to lights- lots of their lights. Everything continues to operate great so even though they may be a "value" brand, their quality overall is great.My ONLY gripe about Neewer's lights is their iOS control app. It's simply a pain to use and wildly inconsistent when you have more than a handful of lights registered with it. When you invest in a manufacturer's lights, you're also buying into the software ecosystem so make sure you like theirs before pulling the trigger on multiple lights.

Really impressed with this light. It’s surprisingly lightweight for how powerful it is, and the size is perfect for a home studio setup. Setup took maybe a minute. The build feels solid and durable, no cheap parts. I haven’t tested battery life, and unsure if they even have a battery; since I keep it plugged in, but functionality is spot on. The app is smooth and responsive. Overall, it’s a great light for creators or anyone doing video work.

I'm no expert in the field -- I got it to fulfil my lifelong dream of having a full power RGB flashlight.Then when I had one, I realized I had no use for it.. not even just as house lighting, because it is bluetooth only. The 2.4ghz is some propriety thing, not wifi. So for a professional, or amateur who doesn't mind only being able to control it using the Neewer app, with a very limited set of FX... the same ones on smaller, cheaper devices actually.Everything about it is top notch - don't get me wrong.* Bright like the sun? Check!* Sturdy and well packed? Check!* Lightweight? Check! -- it's incredible to consider what this tech looked like just 10 years back... pretty amazing.* Price -- I have found Neewer's products to typically be a good value, and the same holds here.If I had purchased it with a purpose, I'm certain it would have fulfilled it... but if you just want an RBG torch?Keep waiting, it will happen lol

The app works well. It reconnects after a power cycle and is very handy as a DP to adjust while looking at my scene and camera feeds. The CCT shifts are acceptable but getting anything more than a very minor magenta shift is not possible. The RGB adjustments seem only good for extreme colors and small changes around the magenta shift cause massive shifts to blue and red. Other brands do the same thing but I don't see why better rgb control is not possible

Bought this after buying a few other Neewer studio lights because the app works GREAT! I love the flexibility of the app controls and creating scenes using multiple types of lights by this company. Highly recommend.

For the price you really can’t go wrong. The difference between these and “pro” light are only noticeable to trained eyes.With that being said it’s pretty bright and has a lot of functionality. I’ve been rough with it and it’s still great. (Not dropped it or anything) Bowen mount is great works with all might Bowen mount Softbox.

Absolutely love the output on this affordable 300 watt light. I love the fact that the power cable doesn’t have a power brick. That cuts down on the weight on the setup when traveling. This light has been more than enough power for the type of jobs I do. Corporate video etc. The build quality is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheaply made. It also came with an excellent case to protect your investment. Great value. I bought two.
