So far, it is good. We DIY and have no experience, we didn't need any extra explanations.We purchased the PUMPMAN 1.5 HP Deep Well Submersible Pump, 110V, 26.4 GPM Flow, 315 Ft Head, 4'' in October 27, yet didn't had the chance to install at that time because it was winter.We just installed it for our new well, that is at 320 feet away from the house, at 158 fret depth in Montana for a 2 story house that is 20 feet higher than the well. We have used solid 10-3 submersible wire (we used 4 wires because we didn't know if the pumps is strong enough, thinking that we might need a larger pump with 4 wires) and 1¼ cencore pipe with a pitless adaptor.The pump was easy to connect, we installed 2 outside hydrants and also used the water 200 feet away from the house without priblems.I think is a good pump, I hope is going to last but as a precaution we might order another one to be available if this one fails.The pump had between 25-30 feet of wire (description said 10 feet) and this was good.The problem we found was that the wire is a stranded wire and is hard to splice it with a solid 10-3 wire (we used solder). The tape, shrink wrap and the connecrors that comes withe the pump are not good. Buy yourself better ones but this is no complaint, is just an advice. We used the best electrical tape (a lot of it) to seal the connections in top of the shrink wrap and secure the wire and the rope to the pipe.So far we are happy and the price is affordable. We were getting quotes for $$$$ for a similar pump from professionals and saved $$$$ by DIY installation.

This well pump is the best pump I have ever put into the ground. It fills the tank in about half the time it took for the previous pumps. It is about 150 feet deep so I don’t have any feedback on the noise or lack there of. I would definitely recommend this pump to anyone who wants a good pump for a reasonable price.

Pump was about 1/4 the cost of one from a local hardware store. Came with plenty of wire heat shrink tape and connectors . Time will tell about the durability.

Use to pump from creek 1000 feet away with 100ft head and pumps a full line into the pond. Great pump!

We have been trying for over a week to find a wiring diagram for this pump, thus far no luck. And we still have no water. The instruction pamphlet that came with it isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Definitely will not buy again.

Got this pump install for about two months and it seems to be working well and was easy to install. Have it installed in a holding tank that comes on by a float system. I was worried about potential solids so I encased pump in 4” pvc and drilled holes around pvc and wrapped wire mesh around pvc to prevent and solids to entering impellers. Pressure appears the same as prior pump and the build quality looked good at a third of the price. If anything changes on the lifespan I will update.

This pump lasted less than 6 months. When I tried to invoke a warranty claim, communication dipped off. They also wanted me to reinstall the pump to troubleshoot it. We are talking residential well water pumps here, a basic human need, and there is no sense of urgency or understanding that returning water service is what should come first. Not happy with this product or the customer service.UPDATE: After some back and forth, the seller agreed to refund me. Warranty was therefore successful. I've changed my star rating from 1 to 2 in that regard. Thank you.
