Great batteries!
The best lazer batteries I’ve found.

Still on my first battery for about three years.
I got these to go in a viridian weapon laser and so far so good. I haven't had to replace the first one yet and it's been about three years. Granted I am not using the laser every day, but it still works to this day so the batteries are doing their job and lasting.

A bit more mysterious than it strictly has to be
As others have noted, the green insulating sleeve covering these batteries is annoying. One might think that the package would have some note explaining why these don't work like everyone else's batteries. There's plenty of space on the back of the package; all they'd have to do is make the blurb telling us how super-fantastic the product is a little bit smaller. Then there'd be room to squeeze in some useful information about the green insulator. But such is not the case.Taking off the plastic could be a challenge to anyone who's a bit of a maladroit, as the battery is small and slippery, and hard to hold onto while juggling a sharp knife. Anyway, once safely held, cut off a slice of the green stuff, just like peeling a potato. One cut should do it; fingernails should suffice from there on to pull off anything green. The real annoyance here is a bit more subtle. Equipment powered by these sorts of batteries generally have battery compartments with nasty little covers. The covers are small and have even smaller tabs and catches sticking out the sides, as well as ridiculous little screws holding the whole thing together. When - not "if" - these plastic parts fail, or the little screws go AWOL, the product will be functionally dead. Now, in this case I had to open the battery compartment, take out the old dying battery, and put in this new one. No function. So I open the compartment again, take out the new battery, flip in around, put it back in, and screw the cover back on the compartment. Still no function. So I open the compartment again, take out the new battery, put the old one back in, and attach the lid. This time the thing works. So, open the compartment, take out the old battery, put in the new one, and button up the cover again. And it's back to non-functionality. So I then open the compartment, remove the battery, cut off the green insulator, re-install the battery, and test. NOW it works. This accounts for nearly a half-dozen open/close cycles for the battery compartment door. That might normally happen over, say, a two-year period. So two years of wear and tear on the battery compartment door were accumulated just changing this battery. This is a major deal because I strongly suspect that the useful lifetime of a product like a laser sight is determined by how long it takes the compartment cover to break or be lost.Once in and working, the batteries function as expected.

Very happy so far with this four pack of CR1/3N batteries. Working well.
General appearance: The product comes in the exact style package as shown, but mine had a full white background without the picture of soldier. It comes as a package of four batteries, which is why I purchased this....to have several change outs to my Crimson Trace Rail Master. The batteries have a green shrink wrap around each one, which needs to be removed before use. You may see that in the picture. I think that is for storage and to prevent any stray leakage due to metal to metal contacting points. That is a Pro-Plus-Positive for me. A triple P!Experience: These batteries seem to work well. I have observed strong on/off performance for my laser that is normal and expected. I am more confident purchasing from Viridian knowing that they deal with the type of gear I am using. I have not used any other type of battery brand for my laser, and don't compare these to what the laser came with, as I can't vouch for the age/condition/brand of that OEM battery. So no comparative data to share in that regard. I can say that I've read the other reviews, and these batteries do seem to have a good track record in general in terms of run times reported for various devices.Overall, I've been using one of these batteries now for several days and multiple on/off test cycles for my CT laser, and it is functioning without any fails or lag or dimming. I'm very happy so far with the performance and I like the smart packaging of these batteries. The fact that I have 3 spares for nearly the cost of one comparably brand named CR1/3N is satisfying to say the least. I would totally recommend this particular product based on my positive experience.

Will not work in the Sig Lima365 laser
Battery is correct size 100% but it has a green plastic wrapping around the sides and also covers a section of the - negative & + positive areas of the battery making it inoperable in the Sig Sauer Lima365 laser so I am returning the batteries back and ordering the Duracell version as it is all metal and works perfectly…
