Great glue
Great glue, I was recommended this as I’m a crafter. I use this in junk journaling and card making. The nib is easy to clean with a quick wipe. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it’s not clogged. This is a clear glue.

Perfect for card making
This was the glue I was needing. Because it’s not water based it sticks paper and card without causing warping. It also glues mats and layers without bumps under the surface or oozing . It has a slight smell which doesn’t bother me and could be difficult to squeeze if you have weak hands. For me it’s been a game changer.

Works really well on silky ribbon!
I purchased this glue so that I could make some bows our of ribbon for my wedding. As a lot of the other reviews mentioned, the glue can get fairly stringy (i.e. you blob a bit on and pull the bottle away and a really thin bit of glue remains between the bottle and the blob - I got nearly 1m away at one point and it was still attached!!!). I got the hang of it after a while though, I found that if I blobbed on a bit of glue, pulled the bottle away a short distance, then moved the bottle back down again to touch the blob of glue with the string that had formed, repeat a couple of times then pull the bottle away quick and the string broke.Once I had the technique down, it worked a treat. It's a good consistency and it 'grabs' really quick so I was able to make several bows in good time.Update 27Jul16 - I also used this glue to glue cardboard and ribbon to a mirror (we made out own table plan for out wedding) and it worked really well and held everything onto the mirror. 4 months later I decided to donate the mirror to charity so I pulled the cardboard off and used a razor blade and I was able to remove the glue leaving no sign that it had ever been there so this glue really is great stuff! I'd highly recommend it!I try hard to provide useful and honest reviews so if this review has helped you, please click on 'Yes' next to the 'Was this review helpful to you?' question below. OK, but didn't suit my use-case (gift-wrap)
This glue is clear, isn't runny, so it won't run down a sheet of paper, and does indeed adhere almost immediately, but in my experience the bond wasn't very strong even after waiting a couple of minutes. I experimented with a thin layer and a thick layer, and I could still peel the pages of paper apart after a couple of minutes. In contrast, a typical impact adhesive, also known as an instant contact adhesive (that comes in a red tube with white lettering) has a yellowish colour, is about as thick, but is slightly more stringy, seemed to make a bond slightly quicker when gluing paper together.I then tried an adhesive that comes in a white pen-shaped applicator with green end-caps, it is a type of mono liquid glue. One end has a fine nozzle with hole. The other end is a broad tip. That glue is slightly runnier (but still thick enough to stay where you apply it; about the consistency of PVA wood glue) but surprisingly bonds to paper within seconds once you place the other sheet of paper on top and gently press down, and if you try to peel it apart, the paper layer tears off.For my use-case, which was gift-wrapping using paper, the glue that bonded within seconds to a permanent bond, was ideal, because I don't want to hold down paper flaps for minutes at a time. So, unfortunately, I can't say the Beacon glue suited me at all. I will try other use-cases in future, but for paper-to-paper quick permanent bonding, this wasn't the glue I was looking for.
