I have no idea whether this is actually sterling silver or if there's any gold, I'm guessing those are words they throw in the title just to get in people's searches. Whatever, it's made of or plated with, it didn't cause me any irritation. I liked how this ring looked in the pictures, but honestly, it's not as impressive in person. I thought it would be a little more dimensional, for one thing, but instead, it lays pretty flat. I was also hoping for more of that aurora-type sparkle you see in some of the photos, but it's very subtle and most of the time just looks like the one picture without much shine. The band is thicker and sturdy and the ring base is well made. It can be worn comfortably on ring or pointer fingers and is large enough to make a statement.
