Works great and very quiet. We live in a very dry climate and this helps for adding moisture but not too much to the bedroom. Helps eliminate dry noses so they don’t bleed and much less coughing at night. Cleaning is fairly easy, no odd smell. If low water it stops running.

Got this for my mom and she loves it

After reading all information carefully, I followed the directions precisely. I placed this unit on a low (about 24” off the ground) magazine table. I covered the table with plastic and a towel. Ran the unit for 10 hours overnight. The unit turned itself off as it was empty. Had filled to the max water level. Next evening, ran about 10 hours again. There was water left over so I ran it later in the afternoon. Normally I wear house shoes but was wearing socks when I walked in front of the humidifier and my socks got wet. This was on a table, which sat on an area rug with rug pad underneath which sat on top of wall to wall carpeting. There was so much water in the carpet!!! I think all of that water leaked into the carpet. It was sooo very wet. Many towels soaking up water. Had to toss the area rug and used a portable heater blowing hot air on the carpet for two days to dry it all out. What a mess. Looked at the unit after emptying and carefully drying everything out. No visible signs of damage. Don’t know why this happened. I have owned a different brand; larger and a smaller humidifier and never had anything like this happen before. Sent back as defective.

Excellent humidifier and very effective. Easy to operate, quiet and lots of features. I especially like the heated steam feature.

Great craftsmanship, good features, such as timer, sleep mode, remote control, warm mist.Fairly quiet, except when water occasionally gurgles in the tank.I wish there was a way to dim the display as it is very bright in a dark room. The sleep mode shuts the display down, but if a unit runs out of water in the middle of the night, the display lights up again.The tank capacity is not great. Even on the lowest setting, the water doesn’t last 2 full nights. Also, the tank should have some kind of handles. Not the most convenient way to take it out and to carry.

Although it was smaller than I had anticipated, it works great! We use this in the kitchen near our wood stove. It's easy to fill and the large settings are easy to read from a distance. The noise is just a small hiss. What I had not expected the ease of being able to tell when it needs refilled. The water "trough" is clear so I can see the water level from across the room. My other two humidifiers are more difficult to monitor.

On the good side this is quiet and a top filler, so those features I like, On the bad side, I have had regular trouble with it showing ERR messages and stopping working, and it leaves the carpet around it soaking wet, and worst of all, when I tried to contact the seller for help or a refund I got no response. So I cannot recommend it.After I submitted this Amazon review I was contacted by customer support but after having me trouble shoot multiple things (so spending my time to no benefit) they offered to replace the humidifier, but I just wanted to send it back for a refund, both because I had had such a bad experience with this device plus because I bought a humidifier from a different maker that I was very happy with. They did not agree to me returning the item for a refund.
