Great RV water softener
This softener arrived quickly. Just installed it and it was easy with a clear instruction booklet. It comes with lots of fittings but didn't need them all. It has exceeded expectations for quality build and included parts so far. We already had a water filter but needed this to help with hard water deposits. Did a lithium test on the water prior to installation and after it was installed ran some water in the RV and it was quickly starting to soften the water. Bought the unit because the water is so hard here in our winter vacation spot it had plugged tap screens and had to replace a newer kitchen tap because of the hard deposits from the water after one season last year. Looking forward to protecting the new plumbing fixtures no more white spots on everything and softer hair. Thought it was priced well against other 16,000 grain softeners .

Softens water as expected. Small enough for what we needed it for.
I had an odd use case for this water softener, but it was totally worth it for us.Our kitchen's cold water supply is for whatever reason not softened. This means that the refrigerator's ice maker and cold water dispenser put out hard water. Anyone who makes ice with hard water knows that it leaves behind white powder when melted.I used this water softener to soften the water going to the fridge and it's been working perfectly for over 6 months. It's small and light enough to put on top of the cabinetry. I have manual valves and lines set up for whenever I need to recharge it.

Easy set up
So far so good , two months use. Water taste and smells better and is softer. That’s what we got it for, the well we are on is pretty hard water. Product easy to set up and works well. Good quality for the cost!!

Good things come in small packages
This has been a game changer. I have an RV and use well-water which left my hair and skin feeling dry and scratchy, and the hard water build up was an issue. I was doubtful that thing small water softener would do much to help, but I am so glad I took a chance. I noticed the difference in the water right away. Soap actually lathers up now, and I'm not cleaning the shower doors as often. It was very easy to install. Not sure how long it will last but so far, I'm a fan.

Super easy to set up.
Had a cracked fitting on the short hose. But this thing is the bomb.We camped with 2 other campers, the women all showered in our camper for the soft water.I’m impressed, nice easy to use little unit.

Great softness for RV. It's a little heavy but it comes with everything you need.

Does not last
I bought this for a cargo trailer conversion that I have built. I plumbed it in to the water system so that I wouldn’t ruin my high end fixtures with our hard water here in SE New Mexico. It was easy to install but took a lot of patience and massive amount of over tightening to stop all leaks. I thought I was done after fighting for nearly 3 hours to get it in. I used it the water and could tell by feeling the water on my bare hands that it was very much softened water and the water hardness test strips verified that the water cowling in to the unit was very hard (425 ppm) and the water coming out of the unit was soft (0 ppm.) after 2 showers, 5 or 6 toilet flushes and washing a plate and a fork, the water was starting to spot up my new fixtures in the shower and the sink. I tested the water and it was 250 ppm coming out of the unit. It only softened the water for 3 days and really not even that long. I followed the directions to regenerate the unit with 2 and half boxes of salt. Again, the water tested at 0 ppm and I tested it morning and night for the next 2 days. After my shower that night, it tested at 25 ppm. After washing my plate, bowl, a pan and fork the next day and it was reading 50 ppm. After that my shower that night (24 hours after regeneration) it tested at 120 ppm. The next day at 36 hours and only 2 or 3 toilet flushes, it read at very hard (250 ppm) after my shower that night, 48 hours after regeneration, it was right back up to 425 ppm. I’ve verified that I have no leaks, my showers are average 7 to 10 minute showers and there’s no excuse for such poor operation. And having it plumbed in as I do, it’s not like I can just screw the top off and easily regenerate. I am very disappointed. I will be removing it this weekend and since I wasn’t ready to Instal it right when I got it, I am past the return limits so I guess I’ll be donating it to the garbage can. I’m sure it might be a great product for areas where the water is already soft but it is not even close to being a good product for here where I live.
