My son is going to work in a fishing lodge in alaska so I got this as a gift for him. Helly Hanson makes solid gear, and this is no exception. High quality, roomy fit, breathable (not as breathable as Gore Tex but a lot cheaper!) and overall a solid value for the price. It looks good too.

I was looking for something that was fairly sturdy and could withstand a heavy rain. This keeps me bone dry in even the heaviest of rains. I just need the pants to go with it.

These worked great for our Alaska fishing trip. Buy them a little big to fit layers.

This is my first experience with HH so I didn’t know what to expect as far as sizing. I went a size up (to XXL) just in case and actually could have went a size down (L). I don’t have time to return these and get a new set before my trip which is my own fault for waiting. I will be returning them for a size smaller.All that said, this seems like a terrific rain jacket. I’m looking forward to putting it and the pants to use once I get the correct size.

Im a 6' 3" 285 pound man. And the 2XL fits me well. The material is heavy duty and will keep the rain away. No zippers, just buttons, but the design is clever and will not let the rain in.

Really happy with the fit and feel. Should last quite awhile.
