Especially for the price! Seller assumes this awning is going to be installed on a masonry or concrete wall and instructions and hardware are geared toward this presumably rare installation scenario? Grommet for wire to light was dislodged from motor housing. Lights in arms are nice, but very bright, and not adjustable... Party Time! Nut was missing from one of the front arm studs. The initial slope was set to zero (straight out); NOT 14 degrees as indicated... Slope adjustment is necessary and adjustment bolts on ours were bent. Instructions say to retract awning in rain... What is the point of waterproof fabric if this is the case?? Directions also indicate that there is a level built into the front rail... There is none? It is a challenge to find a connection point for straps to stabilize the awning when extended. The motor cord is quite short and will require installation of a nearby receptacle or an extension cord. The buttons to open and close would appear to be reversed (not intuitive) on the remote control. We expected top quality for the price of this awning... This product has several issues and is not the high quality that they advertise!?
