well packaged in a mini cooler with freezer packets. as for the taste, its very light. it obviously has a fishy smell, but it is smooth not overwhelming.

I have found that most salmon caviar have similar taste profiles but the swing factor is the texture. Often, inexpensive caviar is sticky with a few broken eggs - or the eggs are tough. Not so with Marky's salmon caviar. Each egg is separate, with slight resistance to the bite and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend.

These are the best salmon roe I’ve ever eaten. They’ve got a slight give, bright color, not swimming in goop, and not too salty. The taste is fresh and flavorful. I never knew salmon caviar could taste this delicious.

This salmon caviar is very good quality - large, round, bright eggs. I used the entire jar to garnish a lobster pate. It was impressive.

I got hooked on this during an Alaskan cruise and bought several small jars at a gift shop and it was great. I got on Amazon to buy it for when I got home and I got the highest rated expensive one, but when I tried it, I was very disappointed. It had much less firmness and body than I had expected. It was not worth the money. Also, the expiration date was in two weeks. Taste was ok. Just not as fresh as should have been. I will look elsewhere.
