TubifastBLUE LINE - Large Limbs - (7.5 cm x 5 m)

Tubifast is an improvement on the original Tubigrip which is visually very similar, but is more elasticated and differently woven so that it is less likely to unravel at the cut edges. It comes in several sizes that may suit different parts of the body from a child's arm up to the trunk of an adult. Each size is denoted by a differently coloured stripe that is woven into the fabric and could be used on any part of the body that fits to that size's minimum and maximum capacities, which is always circumferential.Tubifast can be used as a bandage to cover a dressing or for support such as with a strain, to relieve muscle or joint pain etc. It does not need pinning or normally any form of adhesive tape and is easily cut to length. Used as a bandage, it can be used as a single thickness or doubled over. For support, doubled is the norm. You may need to be generous with the amount used, especially on joints where it can sometimes gather if cut too short. It is available in several lengths and can be washed and re-used when fully dry.Before making a purchase, check the usage chart for sizes and suggested applications, measure the portion of the body where it is to be used and select the best fit. Seems good quality I’m just annoyed I listened to the stupid woman who left a review on the 5cm wide roll saying her ‘tiny skinny teenage daughter’ said it was way too small so as a smaller than average female (5ft) I bought the next size up. Big mistake it’s effing massive for my small wrists and once you’ve opened it you can’t return it so that’s £8 down the drain AND I’m going to have to buy the smaller roll anyway. To the woman who left that review you and your daughter are both FAT and owe me £8.

I was hoping this was similar to the product the hospital used for dressing my hand/arm inside a removable splint so I could have clean one every day. It did the job splendidly. It is lightly elasticated, enough to stay in place but not constrict. It is not a support bandage. Ideal for my needs.

Used this bandage to hold on the dressing on an infected leg wound, made the job very simple and effective

Not very good quality

used as per dermatologist instructions, inner layer applies damp over moisturised skin and covered with dry layer over night. Stops itching for little ones with eczema and aids repair of skin with locking in moisture 👍

Just what I needed and just what it said - a bandage that didn't hold my limb too tightly but kept the dressing in place. Can be washed (yes, I've tried and washing it is okay). Highly recommend.
