Plastic but sturdy
I had previously bought cheaper airlocks thinking since they are all plastic, how much of a difference could it really make. As it turns out the seams of the previously purchased airlocks (sold by another company) were not sealed and had hairline openings that were not visible. These new ones that are the subject of this review are plastic but notably of better quality and have worked perfectly.

Good quality
Bought these to start making mead. They worked well on all batches so far and no reason to think they won’t going forward.

Wine Making
Easy to use. Worked great for my gallon and half gallon carboys. So easy to clean and sanitize. Low bubbling noise. Airlock works great to keep unwanted pollutants out of wine and mead.

Box wasn't taped shut and the lid was flapping open.
It was a miracle this didn't arrive as an empty box because the flap wasn't even taped shut. The lid would have come completely open if it hadn't been for the corner of a random barcode sticker. All the parts were there, looks good, but the seller/shipper should really think about using some tape.
