I loved this book. It is easy to read and each chapter seems to teach a lesson. Mr. Farmer did a great job of going back in time and telling great stories that teaches life lessons. A must read!

Great insights to the UCLA dynasty and Larry's career. Author is the winningest player in college basketball history. 89-1 and 3 NCAA championships. Truly amazing!

I became interested in UCLA basketball in the mid 1960s (and am still a rabid fan today) and this book brought back many wonderful memories and answered many questions that I had about was was going on behind the scenes in the UCLA program during the years Larry Farmer was involved with the team. A must read for anyone interested UCLAs glory years.

if you're an old time UCLA bruin basketball fan, this book is great fun. it reveals so much about college basketball in general, and the bruins in particular. Highly recommended if you were fans of the Walton teams...even more so if you were at UCLA, as I was, at that time.

A must read for every fan of the UCLA Bruin dynasty. It is no coincidence that the author has the greatest record of any player in college hoops history. Larry was talented enough to be a star, yet grounded enough to “play his role” to be the complementary piece on teams that went 89-1.
