Delicious
Really enjoyed it , could be a little drier but was still delicious

1kg dried sausage purchased.
I was elated to receive the dried sausage so timeously and very well packaged... the sausage was superbly vacuum packed. It tasted as how I remembered it be, delicious abd so tasty! Beautifully spiced and seasoned! Credit must go to Best Biltong!!! Thank you SA Shop!

Tough Call
Ok where do I start, from my brief experience in biltong tasting I thought it was decent, not great but decent, what I was mainly disappointed in the fact that it had MSG (mono-sodium glutimate) in it, which if you don't know is a flavour enhancer which is used in many cheap foods nowadays, I personally believe that proper biltong should have natural seasoning, if you know what I mean.Taste wise: It was ok, not mind blowing but around average, if your a first timer in the biltong world then this is a good place to start but in a sense, at least for the price I was expecting a more full flavour.Is 500g enough?: For me (1 person) it was more than enough, took me a good few days to get through and I wouldn't recommend leaving it for too long because even though it's dried they do have a tendency to go off, (from browsing at other reviews).All in all it was ok, if your one of those "saffa" types who parade the dried meat section on amazon then this isn't for you but hey if your interested in some decent tasting meat, take a shot. Like I did.

This is a great tasty treat.However sometimes it is sent out a little too fresh, and soft. May sometimes be advised to let dry one extra day

Very disappointing to see that it contains MSG which was not mentioned as an ingredient in the description.MSG is a well-documented cause of many health issues.Returned and refunded.

I love this stuff.
I love this stuff and that’s the problem once it arrives it’s gone.Flavour it’s not to over powering with spice and has a nice texture.It’s got some nice spice flavours giving it a traditional South African taste.Overall I’m this is some addictive stuff.
