Uber Goop Dark Grey Dishwasher Rack Paint & Glue w/40 caps

This is an awesome product! First off I have a MAYTAG dishwasher, and even the tiniest little piece of plastic will cost an arm and a leg to replace. I just had two little areas where the metal had become rusted on the drawers and eventually separated, leaving openings for a potential dish or kitchen utensil (spatula for example) to fall through. These repairs are at least 8 months old, have been through dozens of wash cycles with extremely hot water and dry cycles, and they still look the same as the day I repaired them. Excuse the kind of messy looking repair I did, but I did it for functionality, not aesthetics to please a guest, because obviously it's inside a closed dishwasher door that nobody except me and my wife see anyway. Very inexpensive fix that lasts a long time. The color matched almost perfectly as well, and it dries very quickly. It is kind of thin and runny though, so be careful and do the repair over a scrap piece of cardboard or something, and a little goes a long way.

I used this to repair my upper dishwasher rack. To replace the rack would be $250. I cut away the badly rusted wires. Then coated the rack and added caps where I could. I cut some of them shorter. So far it seems to have stopped the rust from spreading. My goal is to never replace the rack during the life of the dishwasher. I have lots of leftover solution and caps. My only complaint is that the color doesn't match. Worth the price.

Product easy to use; two day process. Use product outside of house re to fumes/ smell.Dislike that it is a 2 day process. Recommend using gloves.

The media could not be loaded. We got this dishwasher used with a rusty top rack. Saved a ton of money by nipping off rusted areas and the using this product to repair and cap the ends and small rusted areas. Went on easily and has withstood normal use. No complaints! I did order the wrong color though, but hardly noticeable.

I have used this multiple times to extend the life of dishwashers. Rusting tines are some of the first things to go, and where the manufacturers chose to cheapen. I am replacing a Whirlpool bought in 2012 that still runs fine, but the top rack rim itself is rusting through beyond where gooping it will help, and don't want to be caught without a DW in the midst of potential trade and tariff wars.
