Real-World Review: Using the PeakDo HDMI to USB-C Adapter for Interactive Meeting Room Setup
Real-World Review: Using the PeakDo HDMI to USB-C Adapter for Interactive Meeting Room SetupIn a meeting room setup, a seamless way was needed to mirror and interact with content from a SMART 85-inch wall-mounted screen to a RICOH 15.6-inch portable touch monitor. The goal was to allow the audience to engage directly with the presentation using the RICOH’s stylus-enabled touchscreen. The adapter instantly mirrored the SMART screen’s content to the RICOH monitor.- Touch Interaction: The RICOH’s stylus and touch features worked flawlessly, allowing participants to annotate, navigate slides, and interact with content in real time.- High-Quality Video: The adapter maintained a crisp 1080p/4K signal with no lag or flickering—ideal for presentations and collaborative sessions.- Compact & Portable: Its small size made it easy to integrate into our cable management system without clutter.⚠️ Things to Note:- Power Matters: For consistent performance, especially with touch-enabled monitors, make sure the adapter is powered via USB-C PD (Power Delivery).- Cable Quality: Using high-quality HDMI and USB-C cables helped maintain signal integrity and responsiveness.📝 Final Thoughts:The PeakDo HDMI to USB-C Adapter proved to be a reliable and efficient solution for enhancing interactivity in our meeting room. It enabled a dynamic, two-way communication setup where the presenter and audience could collaborate directly on the RICOH screen using the stylus—without any technical hiccups.Highly recommended for professional environments where content sharing and interactivity are key.

Perfect nVidia/HDMI+Windows single cable USB-C DP out to portable monitor alongside main display
An hour long experiment, out of the box, in a Windows environment using:* for power, an Anker 100W USB-C PD into the 5V on the side of the PeakDo* HDMI output from nVidia into the PeakDo* USB-C DP capable 100W cable from PeakDo into Arzopa portable monitor at 2560x1600, 60Hz resolutionThe Anker sufficiently powers the Arzopa on the USB-C PD Thunderbolt cable through the PeakDo.The PeakDo reads and maintains 98°F at the warmest area on the surface using a laser infrared thermometer, so, I'm keeping it in a well ventilated area to not have it overheat. This is a perfect solution since the nVidia card only has HDMI output with no USB-C Thunderbolt capabilities.Absolutely 5 stars on this product since I had my reservations before purchase.

Expensive for what it is, but does exactly what it's supposed to.
PSA: If you don't have sound, it's probably your glasses, not the adapter. Try holding each of the buttons on the glasses for ~10 seconds (one at a time, just to figure out which button affects the sound settings) to attempt to switch from USB Sound Card mode to HDMI Passthrough mode. This may need to done each time you turn on the glasses.First of all, it deserves note that you can buy an HDMI-to-USB-C cable for significantly less than this adapter. Just make sure you buy the right type of cable - most you'll find are for the other direction of conversion; most of the proper ones will also have a second USB-A input for power.I still really like this adapter for a couple reasons, though. Specifically, the size is quite tiny (since you're providing the cables of whatever length you need). Considering my plan for buying this was to combine it with a power bank and wireless HDMI receiver to create a completely portable screen, the size is a huge plus.It also, through sorcery I don't entirely understand, sometimes provide enough power to power the attached glasses without additional power input (I have to assume it's dependent on how much power is output by the HDMI signal and possibly cable length, but I just found it funny when I unplugged the power source to the adapter and the glasses kept going like magic).

Great little product to expand AR-glasses connectivity
This little dongle works fantastically! I got these to use my Viture Pro glasses on a computer with a 14th-gen KF (no i-GPU) CPU, which couldn't run my glasses with just a USB-C cable. I haven't had any lag or issues using this dongle; I just connected HDMI and power, then connected my Viture cable, and a 3rd monitor immediately popped up. If you have a spare HDMI port open, this is pretty much plug and play.

I want to rate it higher but
I got this to support the HDMI out from an Android tablet to a USB C display. It works but...it has to be powered to work and the power cord is very short. I do get audio but it cuts out periodically. No problem with that since I use a headset. I have to either get a longer power or use a power bank. Too many wires to make it all work.

Does it work? Couldnt tell ya!
Bought this for my Xbox Series S and Xreal Air Glasses. As soon as i got the thing opened and had everything connected it was not working, figured it could be a setting or software update thing on my glasses so i fiddled with those for about an hour just to realize. The type c port the device uses to get power was loose and did not work. I tried 3 different cables including the one that it came with and would only work when you held the device a certain way. I plug my cords in very gently so im almost certain i didnt break it. I was really excited for this so it was a bumber when it didnt work, i got my refund fast and easy though so i guess that was an upside.

Actually works with XREAL One
Works 100% with the XREAL One. I was able to use it with a laptop HDMI port, USB docking station and with mini-display port to HDMI. I was looking for something that worked with my Microsoft Surface Laptop and this is the winner.
