I borrowed this book from my local library and liked it so much that I decided to purchase it on Amazon. It’s full of helpful, no nonsense and thorough information from medical experts. I’ve found it so helpful as a first time mom-to-be. Reading day by day information helps me feel empowered on what to expect throughout this journey. I recommend it to anyone going through their pregnancy who’s looking for a reliable and detailed resource full of facts.

This book has all the information I was looking for to get informed on all stages of pregnancy as a first time mom. It’s a huge book with endless details so if your looking for an all in one book, this is it. I am glad I found it and highly recommend it for new moms!

Most pregnancy books appear as mostly reference texts with indexes of symptoms and stages available for lookup when needed. This book is welcomely different, it serves as a kind of companion through each week of the journey, with timely nuggets of wisdom, pretty pictures and visualizations, and so many great lessons allow us to prepare for our first child. I can't recommend it enough for first time parents. Seriously ob-gyn clinics should prescribe this to their patients.

This book is great for both mom and dad. We love reading through it every couple weeks to see where we are at in our pregnancy and what's going on with the baby. It's like a science book so it has a lot of facts and is not focused on parenting. It does have good tips and tricks for small things though. Definitely recommend https://amzn.to/3VNG5ay

I absolutely love this book. I have an older version of it but I bought this newer version for my friend that is pregnant with her first baby. I am currently pregnant with my third child and still use this book. I love being able to show my two small boys how big the baby is each week with the pictures they have.

This has a lot of photos, but has almost too much information. I love the idea of having a page to read each day, but it’s just one big report. Not as helpful as I thought it would be. Very good quality though, if this is what you’re looking for. There is even a baby month by month that goes with this.

I got this book wanting a solid resource for all of my questions that wasn't google. So far I have really enjoyed it. I don't use it day by day but will typically sit down and read the entire week together like it's a chapter in a book. The book is filled with super helpful pictures and illustrations. For example, especially early on they have actual live sized illustrations of the baby so no one is having to guess when you hear your baby went from the size of a raspberry to a blueberry to an olive. It is a very engaging format much like an encyclopedia is laid out. Some have complained it is overly simplified but I think it is a great resource for getting a basic understanding of what is going on without being overwhelming. My husband also found it engaging and paged through the entire thing as immediately after we got it. All in all, would recommend

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!! IT IS WAAAY BETTER THAN THE WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN EXPECTING book!!! I used it for both of my pregnancies 3y ago and 19m ago and totally enjoyed reading about what my little one was doing THAT day. My hubby and I read it every night as it corresponded to the pregnancy day. When I delivered my first at 38wks 3days I wrote her birthday on the page leaf for that day. With my son, he came at 40wks and 1 day. I totally loved all the information that the book provided about nutrition, what I may be feeling, WHAT THE BABY WAS DOING AND LOOKING LIKE IN UTERO that day! The photos are AMAZING!! It was so reassuring and it told me what I should be asking my doctor at that visit and/or what tests are usually done and why. Really great book. I have a good friend who’s daughter is pregnant and I thought about loaning her my book but decided against it because it really is better for her to have her own book to make notes in, etc. So I bought this one for her. I hope they never stop making it. As for mine, I’ll hand it down to my daughter when she starts her family.Overall, I TRIPLE recommend it!!
