Aceshop Portable Mini Speaker with 3.5mm Plug, 3W Rechargeable Speaker with 350mAh Battery for Mobile Phone MP3 PC

Bought this so to use with my ancient ipod nano when I don't want to wear headphones. Does exactly what it is supposed to, the sound quality is surprisingly good for a single speaker and it can get decently loud. The battery seems to last a good while before it needs recharging again, and it's small enough to be very unobtrusive when I'm not using it.

I wanted an external speaker to boost the sound on my phone when I am listening to the news or audiobooks on the go around the house. Sadly, the speaker doesn’t increase the volume output at all. It’s slightly more bassy than my phone speaker, but this doesn’t help at all as with background noises like cooking, or the shower, the bass tones get lost.The jack plug is not as good a fit as my headphones are and the jack is not placed in the centre of the ball shape, so it is not stable and it swings around so the speaker tries to face down with every movement. I’ll be returning the product as it is not fit for purpose.

It worked fine. No complaints. This little machine did what I expected it to do. Thanks.

Only one thing missing no button for increase or decreaseSound

These are great for their price. Do not expect amazing clarity or performance but these are fantastic value for money and do what they are meant to do. I was having a problem with my samsung phone, where I had to use headphones if I wanted to speak to someone as there was a problem with the sound on my phone. This really worked for me, i plugged it in the 3.5mm plug and I was able to speak to people without having to constantly use headphones. These are also perfect as shower speakers and I now use them for that purpose after having replaced my phones. Its a good piece of kit, tiny but powerful. I am happy with my purchase. I have used it for over an hour at a time so these definitely have a good battery life.

This item is advertised as suitable for any device with a jack plug, but it only works with a bluetooth connection. Actually it works very well with bluetooth on my laptop, but this is not what I wanted if for. I wanted to use it with a device thatdoesn't have bluetooth. So I am disappointed.Update next day! Now it only works separately from the jack socket. So it is now a stand-alone bluetooth speaker. With a useless jack sticking out.

It's not going to win any awards for sound quality but honestly for the price it's actually better than expected.Perfect for the Dirtywave M8, the inbuilt speakers are ok in a pinch but quite tinny, this speaker elevates the sound so bass is at least represented and things are a lot easier to work with when you don't want to use headphones.

After a few days, it just stops working after a minute or two of playing. Buy from a more established brand if possible. also this speaker has blue tooth features which is not advertised and note what I wanted. I got a refund from Amazon though.
