As a spare battery appears to cost nearly as much as the micro drone, it should be available to purchase with 2 batteries.All Xmax RC toys I have bought have had 2 or 3 lipo batteries included.Anyway, easy to setup and start, calibrate the gyros and trim for any drift.I got used to flying in a NONE headless mode, but headless may help beginners as long as the drone is in front of you and you dont turn around.Auto take off, and landing just like DJI drones.Only tried on lowest speed due to room size, but somehow I changed the stick mode to Mode 1 accidentally, so the controls were not as I expected with up/down on left along with rotate(rudder) and on the right stick forwards/backwards and move left/right.Never got around to try a 360 flip, I will let my son experiment with that, as it will be his present , now i know it all works

Bought this product back in July for my sons Christmas (I know I like to start early!) was great to start with then just wouldn't fly at all, contacted the company through Amazon and their customer service was excellent! Offered to send me out a brand new one and keep the other for spares! We've played with it and works absolutely perfect for my just turned 7 year old! No issues with this one, we must have just had a faulty one to start with, bonus we've now got two batteries which my son is very happy with means it's on the go 24/7!10/10 from me!

This product was so fun indoors. Could easily be controlled. All of us flying it could control it easy inside. We charged it and took it outside to fly and do more flips. But immediately after take off it vered off in a direction and no matter what adjustments put into the control it continued on its own coarse. So product is lost. There was no wind that could be felt. No breeze. It is very disappointing. If you buy this do so on the basis of indoor use only. I bought 2 of these. 1 has now been lost and I think the kids will be too scared to fly the other.

Got one of these for my nephew and its so good I got another for my son. Stays static in flight and is easy to control. Its not the most robust if it crashes and props have already been damaged but that's a small thing given the price we paid. Replacement or additional batteries would make this a perfect 5 but they aren't yet a available but that's a small thing for the fun you'll have with this.

My 10 year old son bought this for himself and he's very happy with it. It flies well indoors once you get the hang of the trim controls. Don't expect to fly it outdoors though. Even on a very still day it drifts off easily.Land mode is not really much use in a normal house. You need a large expanse of uncluttered hard floors to make it work. Somewhere like a shopping centre or airport would be ideal.If you have pets, be prepared to spend a lot of time taking hair out of the propellers. It comes with a tool for popping them off so it's not a big deal, but if it starts to fly erratically that could be the issue.The flips are fun. The manual says you need at least 10 feet of headroom to do them but that's not at all the case. It flips within a couple of feet at most. You can control which way it flips too: forward, backward, left or right.All in all I'm quite impressed with it for the price. Of course my son now wants one with a camera that he can fly outside! But that's a different price bracket.

Wired for a couple of weeks then front rotors started turning wrong way so won’t take off now.

This little toy was a hit! The take off and landing is so easy. My 6 and 7 year old had no problem getting the hang of it. Small size makes it perfect for in the house. Hubby and I had a lot of fun with it too! Battery doesnt last very long, but it charges really fast. Need a few extra batteries for fast swapping. We will look into getting extras.

Lot smaller than I was expecting and will read all the specifics next timeReally easy to use for children and if I had done further research I would have paid extra and got the one with 3 batteries.
