Rubber Threshold for tile to wood transition
Bought this threshold for the area from the kitchen area to our wood floors to make it easy for the robot vacuum and mop we purchased. It works perfectly. It was easy to install and seems to be holding up well to everyday use. I can recommend this product.

works well for the Roomba
We needed to smooth out the transition from a hallway into the bathroom for our Roomba vacuum cleaner. The problem was the transition is from engineered wood floor in the hallway to lanoleum in the bathroom. The transition strip is kinda steep on one side and depending on the angle of attack the Roomba couldn't get over it. This strip works perfectly. Plus installation was easy and it's holding up well so far. Plus the feel of the product was good so I have every expectation it'll hold up well. The color match with our dark wood flooring was excellent. The only difficulty during installation was you need to practice on the end you're cutting off so you figure out how to cut it. Scissors worked poorly so I ended up using a yard small (hand sized) pruning shears which worked perfectly. After we installed it then we weighed it down with some heavy stuff for an hour or two to keep it from trying to curl back up. It's been a few weeks and it's working well. I don't run anything heavy over it (like a person in a wheelchair) so I don't know how it'd hold up for that.

More Autonomy!
The media could not be loaded. update Dec 2024.. the strip survived being submerged in the Gulf of Mexico during Hurricane Helene. I cleaned it and replaced it using carpet tape. We had to remove the vinyl flooring but it sticks to the old terrazzo just fine. It got a little beat up but it still does the job 😃We were having to back him out over the bump but now he can do it all by himself! Wheeee 🤩! This Vinyl-Door-Threshold-Ramp Transition-Strip 36 inch, Threshold 1/2'' ~ 3/5'' was cheaper (us$19) than any other suitable transition strip I saw on Amazon. It went on easy with just a bit of planning and some caution. I didn’t have to cut it for this spot but I think it would not be too hard with maybe just a good pair of scissors, certainly a box cutter would do. It came curled up but it flattened pretty well under some chair legs over night. The glue seems quite sticky. I could reposition it before exposing all the tape and committing to the whole strip. Now it pulls up the loose lay vinyl planks of this floor but they go right back down and can be easily replaced if damaged. I haven’t tried removing the strip. Your floor is probably not so forgiving. Be careful. Give it some thought. For us it’s perfect!

Didn’t provide a smooth transition
Application was easy but the incline was too steep so insufficient to pass over easily with a wheelchair.

An Essential in Homes with Elderly Residents
After listening to an elderly neighbor who tripped on her raised marble threshold at her bathroom door—just like mine—& fell, I searched Amazon before I suffered the same fate since I'm quite elderly now also. This was easy to cut to the size I needed & easy to install. Since I have very low pile carpeting on the hallway side of the bathroom, I weighted down the strip w/bricks—borrowed from beneath my loveseat to stop my determined robovac's entry—for 24 hours. That was effective but for 3-inches at the door lever side which I occasionally step down on to encourage it to stick better rather than buy an entire pack of heavy-duty staples for just one staple. This threshold ramp is working as I expected & I no longer give a thought to tripping over that too high marble threshold. It was also the easiest & least expensive of the solutions I found. So, I would purchase it again should the need arise.

Perfect for the Doorway to My Bath
This fits perfectly over the lip between my bedroom floor and the tile floor (which is a little higher than the bedroom floor). It joins well with the joist between the floors and is a great help for me to roll my wheelchair and knee scooter over during this next 8 weeks of life with a broken ankle.
