This is the perfect hand pin vise. Use it for model car building. So is makes life easy in drilling pin wholes. Nice alum. Build and finish, comes with drill bits. Would recommend buying.

Works well
This pin vise works well and seems to be sturdy and well constructed. I've only used it a couple of times, and I only use it on metal clay in the greenware stage (think thin, dry but unfired pottery clay) so I don't put it to heavy duty use, but it works fine for my purpose. It's a little long for my taste, I like to hold the back end against the palm of my hand while drilling for stability, and I can't with this one, but that is a personal preference. It's a great value, the price is good, it comes with it's own carrying case and an extra package of bits, plus a nice surprise of 2 extra bits. Overall I think it's a good quality little tool at a good price.

Pin vice for small drill bits
Works well some if the bits were not sharp. Have been drilling small holes in birch wood the pin vise works well and the bits are pretty sturdy as I haven’t broken any

Just What I Was Looking For
Very good for the price. The base has a bearing and spins smoothly. The jaws close tightly and evenly. I like that the bits come in a marked case although it is quite difficult to open and if you're not careful the bits will go flying. I returned two other pin vises but I'm keeping this one.

Handy When Needed
I couldn't believe the price on this little pin vise, but that low price didn't mean it doesn't work. Now, I'm not a machinist or anyone who would really put this vise to the ultimate tests. I am a wood carver and occasionally need to drill a small hole a short distance in soft wood, so keep my use in mind. This came in a nice little carrying case that keeps things together and fits handily in my wood carving tool box. The bits that came with it have worked for my purposes so far, but if better bits are needed you can buy your own. The swivel action works fine and the vise is easy to hold. For occasional use with my wood carvings, I don't need anything more. This fills the bill.

Can I trade my Starret for 3 of these please….
Update 5/25:One very annoying thing is the bearing in the swivel head is extremely poor quality, it feels like a ball bearing assembly with a missing ball or debris in it. The feel is of a destroyed bearing grinding away and I mean really grinding - it totally overshadows the sound and feel of the bit cutting the work material. Frequently the swivel locks up and stops turning altogether. I have greased the bearing with some gun grease and worn it in as much as I can just running it back and forth on a cloth and the lockups have become more rare but the grinding remains severe. This spoils it for me and I’m reducing it from 5-stars to 3. I need the sound and feel of the cutting.Original 5/25:I’m buying more in different colors, these are sweet. I’ve got many older style collet type pin vises and this 3-jaw design is a vast improvement at least in convenience. They’re not particularly well made, my one wobbles as it turns because the chuck is on at an angle, maybe cross threaded or maybe just bent, but not so bad as to ruin it.The large outside diameter of the chuck means you can get some serious grip on it to tighten it down. At first I thought it might be too short, another inch wouldn’t hurt it, but time will tell.

Size, Grip & Swivel are Great.
This pin vise drill by Sanhua Trading Company is a steal of a deal at about $8 US.I needed it to drill precise holes to repair a miniature Ferris wheel. See photo: I replaced thin broken plastic rods with painted metal ones after drilling into the sides. The seats swivel on the rods.I returned a pin vise to my local hobby store because it was bulkier, and the swivel was rough. This new one is aluminum and well machined, with a ball bearing swivel. The little chuck seems to be very well made and held the drill bits centered and secure. And this kit came with bits from 0.8mm to 3.0mm. With 3 of each smallest sizes. The bits I tried were very sharp. This is not jeweler’s quality… but it’s excellent for hobby use. I highly recommend!
