Fender Deluxe Molded Case - Jazzmaster/Jaguar - Colour: Black

Bought myself a new Fender player plus Meteora and was looking for a suitable hard case, saw this one and set about finding out if it would fit. This particular moulded case is for a Jaguar/Jazzmaster and I was informed that it would be ideal for my guitar. As you can see from the pictures it’s perfect. Solidly built and surprisingly lightweight, plenty storage space for cables and other accessories inside. Comes with two keys to lock it. Really looks good as well with the Fender logo moulded into the front of the case. Well worth the money spent to make sure my guitar is well protected. Lovely interior as well. 5/5

I bought a few different ABS cases to try as I was unsure which one would fit my classic vibe 50’s and as I was taking it abroad and needed something light but yet solid with TSA locks this is the one I chose and it didn’t disappoint, great closing and locking action, the plush interior holds my tele body and neck perfectly and tightly and my guitar traveled 18,000kms without a hitch and not a mark on the case, I’ll buy another one for my Strat now I know how good it is.

The case is very strong and robust construction with 3 large catches Inside is moulded with soft material that holds the guitar securely.

I got this case because I have two J-basses and a P-bass, and having used soft gig bags up to now, I needed a decent hard case for taking any one of these basses to regional gigs. The case is genuinely beautiful to look at, inside and out, and both the outer fabric and the lining fabric are gorgeous and tactile.Just as importantly (if not more), the case offers excellent protection to the bass inside, cradling it in just the right places; and it appears so far to be hard-wearing and tough. Saying that, I don't think I'd ever risk putting it into an aircraft hold - though I'm pretty sure that Fender do not intend it to be used as a flight case anyhow.Overall then, it's a great case that I think offers very good value for money: you could of course pay much less for a hard case, but I virtually guarantee that putting your Fender bass into one of these beauties will not only give you full peace of mind about protection, it will also serve as a beautiful and valuable addition to your gear in its own right.

A couple of American Pro II strats that I bought came in these cases, and I liked them so much that I got one for my older, long-time favourite American special strat, too.The one I bought without a guitar in it (the one this review was triggered by) has a slightly different moulding than the ones that came with my 2021 and 2023 American Pro II guitar — different pattern and slightly less shiny. They seem equally strong.My 2021 strat got shipped to me without an outer box — just cellophane around the case — London to Jersey — and it’s fine. I was pretty annoyed at the shop (I won’t mention here) but it arrived ok.The keys for the 3 cases all fit each other’s, which surprised me. Not sure that’s the best idea.I like that there’s no tolex, tweed or other covering to scuff and nick.They stack well, they’re strong and one of mine got caught in a heavy rainstorm for five-odd minutes at a festival site whilst I was waiting to be picked up. To my surprise, no water made it inside — bone dry. I don’t suggest that these are waterproof, and you shouldn’t assume it based on that one experience of mine, but I was and am very grateful that I escaped the swamped guitar blues that day.The handles are great. My one criticism — the softer grey ‘feet’ that you stand these up on gets abraded easily on tarmac or other rough surfaces if you aren’t careful.

This is a very high quality case, and a perfect fit for a Stratocaster.The exterior is very tough and looks like it will take a lot of punishment. This looks tougher than my Fender USA ABS case from the 80s, which has lasted over 30 years and is still in great shape.The handle is very comfortable to carry, and the case is very stable when placed hinge-side down on the floor. There are interlocking tabs which allow two or more cases to be stacked on top of each other securely, and the centre lock is a nice touch. The internal compartment sits under the neck of the guitar. It's good for holding small items like cables, but only the smallest effect pedals will fit in there.Overall I'm very happy with this case, and might well buy more. Highly recommended.

Very pretty. Good weight. Orientation is backwards from how cases are usually built.

Fits any fender Stratocaster and is a snug fit and looks great. I recommend it.

This review begins with a bit of a story. Last month, I ordered a Telecaster from Fender’s Custom Shop. I expected that they would send one of their Tweed cases with it. I was pleasantly surprised when they sent the guitar packed inside the Deluxe Molded Case.Since I have two Telecasters that live inside their respective cases when I am not playing them, I decided to get a second case from Amazon because these cases are designed to be stacked.When stacking the cases on top of each other, they feel very sturdy and there is no concern about anything slipping.The case is designed to fit either a Stratocaster or Telecaster, and both my guitars fit very easily inside with all their accessories. The interior is also padded really well, so I trust that the finish on my guitars is well protected.All in all, this is a great guitar case. It’s really solidly designed and will protect your guitar on a gig, or just protect it in the house while saving space at the same time. I highly recommend this case.

Form fitted case that was marked down as damaged but "acceptable" (I still haven't found a thing wrong with it!). Excellent case that offers plenty of protection.
