Best RC fun On a budget
Bought this to keep entertained during lockdown.I’d had a lot of Tamiya models during the 90’s but never built one myself from the kit form. Not particularly challenging to build right if you’re patient, but very rewarding. Took me around 10 hours over two days. The steering is a bit sloppy and could do with the upgraded turnbuckles and some aluminium control rods. Also the drive train is plastic, so not sure if it will last long being bashed around the patio. The torque motor is very lively. Good acceleration but not yet been able to run it for top speed. Came with the tamiya ESC which will allow a brushless motor if your budged allows. I had a terra scorcher in the 90’s and this newer chassis is lighter and quicker overall imo. Shocks are a bit under damped and it bottoms out easy when it lands from a jump. All upgradable should you need better damping.Overall, you’re going to have some serious fun with this and it’s a bargain relatively. A 2200mah battery lasts for at least 15-18 minutes.

Quality park basher
Tamiya - brilliant as always . Me and my son love these kits . Cheap , robust and hours of fun . *make the effort and buy ball bearings and a 2s Lipo

Great
Works exactly as it says on the tin. For anyone worried as I was about whether it came with an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller), it does. Very nippy, quick buggy, but you need to seperately order:A remote control (I recommend the Acoms Techniplus)A battery/batteries (HPI Plazma works for me)A battery chargerTamiya PS-16 "Metallic Blue" paint

Team who? Traxx huh? No need to pay top dollar for top shelf hobby cars.
Easy build, very accepting upgrade. Lots of billet and aluminium parts available and it's Tamiya. Good for beginners and enthusiasts.

Tamiya instructions very easy and clear to follow and understand
Bought this Tamiya buggy in kit form. Tamiya instructions very easy and clear to follow and understand. Bought upgraded esc and motor and car is fantastic as a entry level buggy based on the popular tt02 platform. Would definitely recommend this buggy
