Made the best prickly pear margaritas.

To me this syrup tastes like a combination of cherry and guava with a hint of a slightly flowery aftertaste. I don't like strong flowery or perfumey aftertastes, but the aftertaste of this syrup is so mild that it does not bother me. It is sweet, but at the expected sweetness of a syrup.This syrup works well as a mixer, but the flavor is too mild when used as a syrup on pancakes, biscuits, etc. It worked well in making prickly pear lemonade.The price per ounce is in the middle of the pack compared to other prickly pear syrups, but they all seem rather expensive to me.

The primary taste here is sugar, not fruit. Other syrups in this Real Infusion series have a stronger fruit taste, this one is quite anemic.

Love this stuff in margaritas! Has no fake taste at all.
