It is smaller too.Part of the solution to getting best performance out of the charger is the power source you plug it into.To get best charging speed, you MUST plug it into a 9 volt 2 amp source. Less than 9v or 2a, not only will the charging speed be substantially reduced, both the charger and the receiver will run hot, since they are not getting enough power, so they are not running smoothly and consistently and instead varying charge and struggling to stay at optimum.Anyway, I hope this helps.Spent a lot of time, trying different Qi chargers and receivers, measuring charge rates and times and this one combination was immensely faster than all others! Almost as fast as a direct cable, instead of wireless Qi.

I paid $9.99 for this item. After a week or so, I can confidently say that it is indeed worth that price. The device I'm using is a Pixel Fold. The pad charges my device but it is pretty slow. Most of that is the Pixel's fault as it only has 7.5w charging. The LED ring is a nice touch. It is green when the device needs to be repositioned and when it begins charging, it turns green. LEDs turn off several seconds after removing the device. The device is fairly thin. I attached a photo of it compared to one of my coasters. It is roughly the same thickness.All in, I would definitely recommend this charger at the $10 price point. If any durability issues arise, I will update my review.

The light is green, blue around it in a circle. So I take some time to get my phone sitting perfect on it, so light is off and my phone says "charging, xx minutes till battery full" a few minutes later, I go to sleep and it's lights start going around in circlesBLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN BLUE GREEN.......and wakes me up.I look at it.It has charged the phone to 89%OK what is your problem?I don't know... because I picked it up in my groggy state, I didn't look to see if it was still charging. After a dozen times I still can't remember to look at it before picking it up in a half awake state to see if it is waking me up because it has stopped charging, or if it has a message, but after I pick it up there is no message on the phone.I feel like I'm being pulled over in my sleep by the anti-sleep police, and they just want to harass me about getting too much sleep in the middle of the night.My husband switched it with an old one that has no light.It doesn't wake him.Sometimes I still wake up with it flashing on his side of the bed.He says it is fully charging his phone.I just cover my head and go back to sleep.I'm going to cut a piece of electrical tape thin, and cover up the light.I'm outside the return window.Technically, there is nothing wrong with it. It charges the phone fine.If it was on the desk during the day, and you looked at it and it had a message that was a perfectly normal message. It would be perfectly fine. But no message is remaining on my phone for me to see. So it's annoying me. I am not at a desk during the day. I am outside not at or near an outlet to charge the phone at all. I need it for an alarm. And to keep an eye on cameras with alarms. So gotta have it by bed.

Bought this for a 3D printed phone charger project. My wife saw it had to buy another one for her then a friend saw hers wanted one so I ordered a third one. Make sure you have the proper charging block to go with it and works perfectly even through a thick case.

Works great on bar phones and flip.
