The comb was strong however a little smaller than I thought. I use it as a prop for my WIC clients to show them alternative ways to control pain during labor.

This comb just doesn't hold up against a standard plastic comb. The tines are thick, and it doesn't really comb your beard as much as push against it. It is fun as a kind of gimmick, but I wouldn't use this every day when grooming my beard and mustache.

The concept and material is good, the execution is lacking. The teeth were splintered and rough. After using a piece of 600 grit to smooth out the teeth it was much easier to get the comb through my whiskers. If the teeth were smoother this would be a 5 star product.

It shapes my beard very nicely.

Not sure if it's the comb or his beard, but hubby says this just pushes it down. Teeth don't actually go into his beard to comb it. There's nothing in the listing to say this is for a specific texture/coarseness of beard so I took away a star for this reason. Even though he isn't able to use them, I still gave 4 stars for the overall product. It's a nice compact size he could easily carry in his pocket or travel toiletry kit. They appear to be pretty good quality, no splinters on our that I noticed mentioned in another review.
