These cake toppers are truly charming and justify their cost.While I am not a professional baker, I do attempt to create nice cakes for my children’s birthdays, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much these toppers elevated my project. Although the mermaid topper is somewhat heavy, it did not detract from my five-star rating. The other pieces were quite lightweight and somewhat fragile; for instance, my three-year-old accidentally dropped a seahorse, which unfortunately broke in half. They come with a ton of pieces so even if a couple break you still have plenty to use.Fortunately, all the pieces arrived in perfect condition, and I was able to rinse them off for potential use in future projects.

It has so many pieces that you can mix and match to make the cake more unique. The color is vibrant and I like it has both big and small pieces.The only thing is that the mermaid is so heavy that it will need some support either on the bottom or on the back.

The mermaid is actually a heavy resin cast 3D figure (and not just flat cut out like others). The details are very good and the mini crowns makes it even more fancy. While some of the small resin mermaid fins were broken in half, it wasn’t a big deal since there were so many other options to choose from for decor accents. The mermaid herself was perfect-no blemishes/nicks/poor painting. My daughter was able to keep the mermaid figure and the other bobbles as keepsakes after the birthday. Highly recommended.

I was so impressed with how cute these were! They worked perfectly for the cake that I made for my friend. The mermaid was SO incredibly cute and was heavier than I expected. The little clams with the pearls were too cute! So happy with this purchase!!
