I'm giving it five stars for moving my 25ft boat and trailer out of the garage and back in, for work and servicing That's what I needed. I wouldn't travel long distance or do too many turns if your boat and trailer are more than 4000 lbs. My weight is 6000lbs. It can do it straight in and out.

This worked fine to move my 10’ trailer on the grass next to my driveway.

The holes in the plate that is meant to attach to the trailer tongue don't line up. And the plate doesn't even fit the dolly itself. When I contacted the manufacturer via Amazon to get support, it's as if they didn't even look at my email. They said since I ordered through Amazon that I should contact them about delivery issues. My issue wasn't with delivery. And top all this off with very bad directions in the manual. I wish I knew if it actually did what it's meant to.

I got more than I paid for!Sometimes you have to take a chance... I ordered the trailer dolly HOPING it would work (after all it is only $200). I have a very tight area in which to move my trailer in/out of my back driveway. The Vevor dolly does everything I've asked of it. It moves slowly, but steady. Easy to maneuver and easily gets my trailer in/out of driveway. My trailer weighs almost 4k lbs loaded. I leave the support wheel down to take some of the weight, but the combination works perfectly.I recently used the dolly to hook up for a camping trip, and left the battery cable out - drove 150 miles and discovered my mistake upon arrival. I reached out to Vevor support and they are going to send me a FREE cable as a replacement - even though it was 100% my fault! Who does that anymore???

When I first assembled the trailer dolly, it initially would not power on. Fortunately I decided to pop the cover off the box and found that one of the motor wires was simply unplugged from one of the relays. It was a simple fix that only required removing the bolt that held the relay in place, reconnecting the wire and bolting the relay back to the housing.However, once the unit was operational, I found that even though the motor likely has enough power to move my trailer which holds a very light small sailboat. The small hard wheel simply has no traction to move the trailer, especially on a non-paved surface and definitely not a lawn surface. When on a completely clean level paved surface in ideal conditions it is capable of moving a trailer, but on any less than perfect surface with gravel, weeds or really anything resemblance of off road the wheel simply has no traction. I can pull my sailboat by hand across my lawn and dirt driveway. I was hoping this would save my back and move it for me, but it simply can't with it's small hard wheel. If the same exact configuration was attached to a rubber tire with a larger radius, this would probably work fine. I may modify it at somepoint to try it, but unless you have a perfectly flat surface without pebbles or anything that may be a tiny obstacle, this is useless. This can't even move my perfectly empty harbour freight folding trailer that my daughter can move by hand across the lawn. I would not recommend, requires a larger wheel for the design to work on non-paved surfaces. Also I shouldn't have to open it up to connect internal wires for it to work. Have 2 stars for potential only because it might work for people with the specific use case and I may just use 90% of it to adapt to a larger wheel.Another recommendation in design and options, a platform or box for a small battery. Would help add a touch of weight for traction and could use improvement on wire management, both internally and externally to both the battery and control buttons.

Had enough torque to spin the wheels. Don't really hold up the best for the moving trailers. Clamp moves under torque. Eventually slides down under weight.

I was looking for a way to make it easier to move my boat trailer and I found this on Amazon. I was curious about this electric trailer mover because of the price but decided to give it a try. I will say that it does what it says. My trailer and boat is on the light side being about 1,400 lbs. total and approximately 20 feet long.The surface I deal with is old cracked asphalt with a very slight slope. The trailer mover works well on that surface, I can’t complain. If there’s a section where I believe is too high or a rut that is too big, I simply help the trailer along. I run 24 volts for my trolling motor so I made an extension from one of my batteries to run the trailer mover.The mover is slow, very slow but it works. It’s especially useful when moving the trailer around tight spaces. For the cost difference to comparable units, this is a good alternative, just manage your expectations.

The mover works well. The mounting bracket is garbage. Be prepared to make your own.
