Best window fan ever
This fan has been a game changer for me. i love the speed it gives and i love how quiet it can be. its very powerful depending on the speed strength you desire but its very cooling and very durable as well. its so easy to use with just a switch for 3 different speeds. from strong to quiet (really useful when using it when sleeping). love its functionality!!!

Used to Reduce CO2 in home office
Used to reduce carbon dioxide in home office. We kept getting headaches in small home office where we work and play games. Bought a CO2 monitor only to realize we were getting to levels of 1500-1600 and anything over 1800 is considered pretty bad!Bought this. Light weight, fit in window easily (didn't need feet, fit in window sill without removing window screen).First day was in office- In 2 hours use on exhaust on medium, CO2 went down from 1500 to 600. Second day, tried it in bedroom window directly across hall in window on farthest wall on medium. In 1.5 hrs CO2 went from 1200 to 750. Have gotten it as low as 500. CO2 rises from breathing as well using gas appliances (we have a gas stove).Prefer it in bedroom as it is a little loud for me (easily over stimulated by noise). But it isn't so loud you can't hold conversation or anything. Light weight enough that I just take it out of window at night and set it on the sill or floor.Air in rooms definitely feel less dense and more fresh. Very happy with this window fan unit!If you're getting headaches in specific rooms at home, consider it might be CO2 and get some ventilation asap!

A good fan for certain uses
I’ve had this Wi-Fi enabled, 3 speed, reversible fan unit installed now for 7 days in the summer, in a room used as a home office. The unit works as advertised. The Comfort Zone app and my iPhone get along nicely. I have the unit installed in a modern double-hung window. I did not use the bug screen. The window width required that the unit’s expandable panels be pulled out. While the panels pull out easily, they are not as wide (vertically) as the fan portion and thus leave narrow gaps above and below the pulled-out panels which, in some locations, would require use of the bug screen to exclude insects (so far, not yet a problem for me in a usually buggy environment). Also, the panel latches are flimsy and do not hold the panels fully out. I used small wood wedges jammed into the panel tracks to hold them out at the distance needed. As for noise level, the unit makes a notable ‘beep’ when changing speeds/modes and always makes a ‘hum’ sound which, surprisingly, does not change with fan speed; it is just there when the unit is on, loud enough to be noticeable but low enough to be ignored in all but a very quiet environment, such as in a bedroom where I don’t believe I could use this unit due to the constant hum (but its fine in my office). Consistent with the product description at Amazon, the 2 small fans move enough air to affect the room in which the unit is installed but not enough to affect other rooms. This true even if the fans are on all night at high speed. To achieve multi-room cooling, you would a fan which moves lot more air. Bottom line, the noise level and air moving ability are about what one should expect from a small unit while the pull-out panels leave gaps and the panel latches not well designed.

Works very well
On cooler mornings I love to air out the house. I had one window fan but it didn't really help in the bedroom. This fan was less expensive and has proven to work well. It's a bit thicker than my other fan but still sits ok in my window. Now I can have both fans in windows to pull in fresh air and blow out the old stale air in our house. I also set it on a dresser with the a/c on to circulate the cool air better. Outs out a lot of air. Looks nice too.

Effective, adaptable fan with limited lifespan. Quick, selectively responsive customer service.
This is a decent exhaust fan that performs well for reducing moisture levels (we monitor through temperature and humidity sensors) without significantly affecting indoor temperature, even with the imperfect seal (i.e. fanned pull out extensions on each side of the fan to cover gaps— a brilliantly adaptable design for multiple window widths). It can also function well for blowing cool air in.That being said, if this fan is used daily, it will probably last about a year with upkeep unless you are savvy with mechanics. This is my conclusion after owning about four of these. The reason for the downgrade in stars mostly has to do with this disposable quality. The company offers no support for repair, which is admittedly more common than for items like this. But there is more. While they did efficiently honor one of our warranties, there was no room for context. They verified the receipt, identified that it fell within the one year time frame, and sent a new fan. However, they did not verify the model type (we initially purchased the three speed) and sent us the incorrect model (the two speed). While the price difference is small, our purchase decisions are well-reasoned. I emailed a couple of times with a week span between emails. I received a auto-verification that my email was received and no response despite their initial quick responding to the warranty request. It would seem that the company did not care to engage with the humans that purchased the fan or to attempt to resolve their error.
