Gel Nails at home
Easy to use and doesn't take a lot of room for storage. I love being able to do my gel nails at home. Worth the money you save going to the salon.

International power support (100-240V, 50-60Hz), just need to change the power cord to suit your location (8 style on item).Controls are simple -select time. Unit starts when you put your hands in and stops when you pull them out.Simple and effective countdown. Easy to view.No beeping.Overall - awesome product

Good product for price but some cons
Pros: easy to use and set up. Removable bottom in case of pedicures. Setting buttons are 30,60,90 seconds and motion activated as hands/toes are placed inside. Cures the gel polishes I have within 60 seconds so quick and powerful.Cons: the bottom plate is magnetic so it does come off when moving, this did tan my hands when using. After one manicure, I will need to purchase gloves or use sunscreen to prevent further tanning of my hands. I purchased for LED lights thinking that this would not darken my hands.Overall a good product for the price for beginners. Quick and easy for at home nail sessions but need to consider gloves or other method of prevention for skin tanning going forward.

Powerful LED/JUV Packed with Features
I like this light for several reasons:1. It is roomy enough to include the whole hand and a foot for a pedicure.2.. There are finger rests inside as a guide to where to place fingers, including the thumb. The finger rests are suitable for both the right and left hands.3. The top is detachable from the bottom.4. The motion detection works well! It activates once you place your hand inside and deactivates when you remove it. The motion detection did not work well when swatching with sticks or mini circles. For swatching, I push the button corresponding to the number of seconds I need. This activates the light, and it stays on for the duration of the selected time.5. Powerful - The 54 Watt light is powerful. I have had no issues curing light or dark dip colors, using Gelish gel Foundation and Gellish gel Top iI Off. I imagine you can cure any product in this lamp.6. The LCD screen is a feature I didn't know I needed. My Gelish 5--45 doesn't have this feature and when I cured I would have to guess how long I had left for a curing cycle. It is nice to be able to read the display.7. The lamp has a 6-month warranty. However, if you go to the Melody Susie website and register the lamp, you will receive an additional 6-month warranty. The total warranty will then be 12 months.Cons:The only thing I would change about the light is the orientation of the LCD screen. The numbers on the screen are oriented to read the numbers from the back of the lamp. Therefore, for a DIYer, facing the front of the lamp, the numbers are in reverse. But, that is not a big deal, as the numbers are easy to understand, even in reverse. Finally, I notice other reviews state the LCD screen doesn't display the numbers or it is wonky. That happened when I first turned on the lamp. But, I removed the plastic sticker covering the LCD screen and it seems to have corrected the issue. I have not had a problem since.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. It is a great lamp and I expect to use it for years to come.

Either faulty or wattage is a lie
This nail lamp is so weak your nails would have a better chance of curing faster in the sun. I either got a faulty one or the wattage is a lie.1. The cord doesn't stay in place inside the machine2. Gel polish never fully cured. I left them in there for almost 2 minutes and nothing they just came out wet. My 48 Watt lamp fully cured gel in 60 seconds3. No heat even came off of the bulbs. This was literally just a regular lamp. That's how new something was wrong. After a half hour of use no heat at all. This literally had the strength of a 8W spot lamp, it'll spot cure and help keep your stones in place before you put them in your real lamp to cure.4. The sensor is horrible. I don't mind it turning on automatically when it senses a hand inside. It's the fact that it's NOT CONSISTENT with sensing that bothers me. Once it senses a hand pulling out even if you're just adjusting it'll turn off automatically. If youre making press ons and put them in for curing it will not sense them in there and turn off. It will turn on when you put them in but the moment it senses your hand pulling out it will turn off .5. Having the need to double click the time buttons. There is no on or off button like on other lamps so the timer is always on. I like that it counts down how many seconds it has left before the 30sec are done etc. What I don't like is having the click the curing buttons repeatedly. If it doesn't sense a hand in there it will not cure automatically and you have to click the timer button for it to start curing. Problem is if you click it once it won't always start curing. You have to click it multiple times to confirm. I put something in to cure for 90seconds and went to take it out just to find out it never started any curing because I didn't click the button multiple times to confirm.6. The space inside the lamp is just so small. It looks big but for some reason it feels so tiny once your in their.Manufacture should probably check on these lamps because all these one star reviews began one month ago so something must be going on.
