Perfect for the job
I needed a method of being able to produce a limited run of VHS tapes for a local band for a music video I shot on modern equipment.This fir the bill perfectly and was plug and play with my 14" macbook via HDMI.

Connect a Raspberry Pi to an old television
This device has to be plugged into a 5 volt USB hub or PSU (not included), using the supplied lead. It has an HDMI input socket and 3 RCA phono output sockets. One, coloured yellow, is for the video output, the other 2 marked white and red are for the left and right sound channels. This device is useful for connecting a Raspberry Pi to an old television for use with a retro emulator, such as PiMiga4. Other makes of HDMI to RCA adapters do not include sound output, being intended for use with a computer monitor, and not a television. If you want to connect to a television, this is the one to get!

Can use a Fire Stick on an TV that the HDMI Ports no longer work on now
Brought the QGECEN HDMI to RCA adaptor so I could use a fire stick on a TV on which the HDMI ports were no longer working . The adaptor works well the right cables . Quality of picture and sound is good ,cheaper to buy this and a set of cables than a new Tv for a room that is only used occasionally.A Good buy .

Great HDMI to RCA adapter. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I can now record anything from an ‘HDMI out’ source (e.g. DVD player etc) to an ‘RCA input’ (I’m using my Panasonic hard drive recorder).Very happy with what it can do!
