I ordered the Wolf Tapes Heavy-Duty Packaging Tape for a house move and general storage box sealing, and it has been absolutely brilliant — a real step up from the budget rolls I’ve used in the past.Each roll is properly heavy-duty — thicker than standard tape, with a noticeable sturdiness that gives you immediate confidence it’s going to hold. It's strong enough that you can feel the difference when pulling it off the roll — it doesn’t tear or stretch awkwardly when you apply tension.Application is easy. I used it both by hand and with a standard tape gun, and in both cases, it dispensed smoothly without snagging or curling, which is a huge time saver when you’re boxing up loads of items.Once applied, the adhesion is excellent. It grabs onto cardboard securely and stays put, even when lifting heavy boxes loaded with books or kitchenware. After a few weeks in storage, all the taped boxes remained fully sealed without any lifting edges or peeling, which is not always the case with cheaper tapes.The finish is smart too — it has a nice clear glossy look, so if you’re sealing things for presentation (like selling parcels or preparing business deliveries), it keeps things neat and professional.One thing I particularly appreciate is that the rolls are full-sized — none of this half-roll trickery where you only get a tiny bit of tape hidden behind a wide roll width. Good value for the amount you get.The only small thing to be aware of is that because it’s heavier duty, it can be a bit tougher to tear by hand compared to lightweight tape. Best to use scissors or a dispenser if you want a clean edge quickly.Overall, Wolf Tapes have delivered a really impressive product here — heavy-duty, easy to use, and incredibly sticky. We are currently moving home and therefore going through a lot of roles of parcel tape to pack boxes. Therefore I’ve had quite a few different packing tapes to use and pleased to say this is one of the better ones I’ve had.The rolls are a little bit thin; I wouldn’t say there’s lots on each roll, but the tape is strong and sticky. Which means that it actually stays sealed on the box when I’m packing them up.I have a dispenser that I use for packing the boxes and it works on the dispenser absolutely fine and sticks and cuts really well.Would be nice to see a little more tape on each roll as the cardboard tube inside is quite big. Make it a bit smaller and you could get more tape on it but it was good value for six rolls and will get used in no time.

Its a pretty decent tape, not the strongest I have purchased but it does stick well to the packaging boxes. I would advise to use scissors or a tape cutter when using as if using teeth to cut the tape, there is a horrible chemical taste.

Absolutely love this tape because it's very, very good for intended use. Not only that, it's great quality and value for money.I've been using these packaging tapes for months and they've never let me down, they secure all types of parcels and envelopes and anything else as they're very strong at holding things down.Honestly i will be buying these again in the future as I wouldn't be without them!.

This is a good, general purpose packaging tape.Pulls off the roll smoothly without tearing and "shredding", even when you no longer have the paper tab to release it the pull to remove tape from the roll is nice and smooth. Quite tough and needs to be cut with scissors - certainly too strong to do with your teeth as you can with a normal cleat sticky tape.Standard sized roll so will work with most packaging tape dispensers.Good tack to the tape and it seals cardboard very nicely. Also worked well on the black plastic bin bags.

Good value packaging tape. Although a tad thin, it does the job well and value for the money.

Sticky but thin

I recently tried Wolf Tapes Heavy-Duty Parcel Tape for my packing needs. While it has a sturdy feel and holds up well for most tasks, I've noticed that it can sometimes lack the stickiness I expected. There are a few times when it didn't adhere as well as I'd like, especially on certain cardboard boxed. However, when it works, it does a solid job of keeping packages secure. Overall, it’s a decent option for general packing, but just be aware that you might need to apply a bit more pressure or use extra tape in some situations.
