i bought two of these at short notice and wasn't sure if i had done the right thing, however they have performed very well.i used them heavily whilst on holiday, filming 5 - 10 and 20 minute videos and 100s of photo's and noted that i would get around five hours between battery changes.i kept my original samsung battery as a standby and never had to use it!so far i have found them to be very good, and, if they only last a year they still represent very good value.UPDATE: it has been almost two years to the date that I bought these batteries, I hav'nt used them or the camara for a year possibly longer (work gets in the way of holidays!) I charged them fully before putting them in the draw at the time.To my surprise on fireing the camara up last week they were still fully charged, I took nearly 900 pics whilst chugging around the med on a cruise and only charged them only once in rotation brilliant, superb value!

I bought this battery as a back up for my WB850F camera. So far I am very happy. It charges just as quickly as the Samsung battery, fits the camera perfectly, and the camera works just as well with this fitted. Compared to the price of the genuine Samsung battery this is a complete bargain. The only reason that I am not giving it the full 5 stars is that it does not last quite as long. It took me a while to realise this as the battery life is very dependent of what you are doing with the camera (use of the flash, zoom, wifi, or video all increase the rate of discharge). I reckon that the charge last about 75% of the time the Samsung battery lasts

The Samsung battery replacement is 7 times more expensive but this one does exactly the same job. Value for money indeed.

Well, yes, I have had no problems at all with the new battery. When it arrived it was already charged but needed a short while to fully charge it, which I did through my pc as I am sure I get a fuller charge that way! It was for a camera which was given to me so learning to use the camera, which was constantly, I kept waiting for the power to go down and it didn't! My son borrowed it for a concert and it still hasn't run out of power. I have yet to see the lifetime of the battery but so far I'm very happy with it!

Just the job, fits camera, so no need to buy another

Used a couple of times and had no issues. It lasted as long as the battery that came with the camera. It is a tighter fit than the original battery but not enough to cause any issues.
