Drive MedicalNitro Duet Dual Function Transport Wheelchair and Rollator Rolling Walker, Red

My rollator/transport chair arrived today, and so far I’m over the moon. It arrived a day after ordering it, fully assembled. I was able to use FSA funds to purchase it, which is so amazing. And the rollator is awesome. I love the adjustable handles. I’m 5’8 and my partner is 6’3. Having taller handles is already so much more comfortable. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood. As a rollator, handles smoothly on pavement and grass. It stays straight even when I’m pushing it with one hand. It transforms into a transport chair in about 30 seconds. I haven’t gotten to test it out as a transport chair, but am excited to do so soon. It’s more comfortable than my standard rollator. It’s also easier to move around since it folds inward, I can push it while moving it in and out of the house, which reduces how much lifting I need to do. It feels a little heavier than my standard rollator but it’s still quite manageable. And it feels very sturdy and just well designed. 10/10. I only wish I could get it in another color, but that’s a small complaint in the grand scheme. I also got a few cupholders and clips to go with it, and they went on easily.

We upgraded from a regular Drive Nitro to the Duet after my wife used the first walker for about 5 years. The build quality is good. Didn’t have a problem with the first one and it was stabile to walk with. We had another brand that was forward balanced and my wife went over the top three times but this style and its build and balancing is top notch. You feel like you can fully trust the walker. The transport is nice for those longer walks if she gets tired and needs a break.

Purchased the dual function transport for my wife who has MS. She had the Nitro Rolling Walker and loved it. Took it everywhere. As her MS progresses, she gets tired walking and has to sit to be transported. It works great as long as it's used on a fairly smooth surface. Front wheel forks are prone to bending if you try to transport on surface with potholes or gravel.

The big wheels makes pushing so easy. Comfortable seat and easy to store in the car. Great product.

This is the most amazing chair ever. I have a balance issue and this was my 80th birthday gift from my family. So many times I found myself looking for a place to sit in a store and there was no place. Compared this chair with many others and found it to be the best. Received a price of $700 discounted down to $525.00 from a professional store and Amazon still had them beat. My family no longer worries about me falling when I am out and thats a good thing. The only disappointment I found was there was no water bottle holder for this particular chair. They all have their own design. Hopefully they will come up with something. Amazon delivered the chair the next day and it was packaged very well with plenty of protection from being damaged. Amazon you did a fantastic job as always. Thank You
