I've bought this for all of my windows. It works very well in reducing dramatically the volume of flies, wasps, etc. that enter my flat. It's very, very easy to cut the netting to the size you want and then place the (supplied) hook and loop tape around the perimeter of the windows. The only issue is that the tape can come away over time from the window surround, but it isn't a big deal to just replace those bits. I'm so glad I bought this - it's a highly economical solution to not wanting uninvited visitors coming into your property!

Installing:- So previously I have tried glue adhesion ones before and the Velcro did not stick on for very long, this one has a good adhesion HOWEVER! Do not overlap the Velcro adhesions on top of each other or you will find that it does not stick at all on one end, so you have to cut the overlap and actually size up the Velcro perfectly. It is also worth noting that the Velcro is so good that upon trying to apply the netting for the first time you may end up fighting with the whole thing, it won’t be you that wins. The net always wins. Despite this, it’s fairly easy to install, providing you are good with your hands and don’t have cats or kids yanking or stealing. The only thing I would say is hard is actually cutting the mesh after installing. If like me you live in a new build house where space is of luxury, you gotta be very good with your hands and a good pair of textile scissors to get a clean cut. Mine ended up looking rather botched, though I don’t really care about this as long as it keeps the birds (newest evolution of British spiders) out of my room.Quality:- as it is a cheap product high expectations aren’t always on the agenda. However this product is an amazing little find. While I do have to comment that the netting feels rather cheap, it does the job so no complaints! Velcro and adhesion works amazingly too.Fit for description?- I bought this for the purpose of keeping spiders out of my room. As someone with a gross and deadly fear of spiders and given their recent evolution in the U.K. to massive birds almost (Australia you can take them back), I suppose this product will work amazingly! Though I have not yet tried it in real world application, the adhesion of the Velcro allows no gaps between the Velcro and mesh so I doubt the spider hybrids will be able to breach these walls. Although now I do fear they will just eat the mesh for lunch, then me following. If you have pets, please be mindful that this probably won’t support the weight of a cat, dog or child and will ultimately send them flying over a rainbow.Comments:- I have an outward opening window, therefore I have an annoying handle sticking out like a sore thumb. As long as you allow a generous amount to cover the handle as well as being able to reach the Velcro on all sides still, you will be totally fine.- good luck to everyone facing these spiders this September, I don’t know if I will get through it either, though this does install just a little more hope!

I've had two packs of these covering three windows up for four years now. They've withstood stormy weather on days when I forgot to close the windows.I live next to a large area of woodland and the letting agency has installed a large security light on the side of the building that stays on all night. This attracts all kind of strange and annoying insects from the woodland, and my flat was getting invaded every night if I left my windows open.These nets put a stop to that. The mesh is very fine, soft, and flexible. Only insects that are barely big enough to see can get through it. I've had no problems with the adhesive - like I said these have withstood four years of use including stormy weather.The only downside to this product is that it's really designed for European windows than open inwards, whereas most British windows open outwards. It is possible to cut the mesh in such a way that it has enough slack for you to be able to reach out and grab the window's handle. You don't want to install this tightly if you want to shut the window. The mesh is delicate so will degrade quickly if you keep peeling it off the adhesive to open a window.After four years the mesh has collected a lot of dust, leaves, webs, and dead spiders. I'm now happily ordering replacements knowing they'll be good for another four years.

Does what it's supposed to. Stick the velcro strops around the edge of the frame, carefully attach the net and stretch into place..Daylight in... Bugs out.It's so easy a 5 year old could do it... But I wouldn't recomend that of course.Only one gripe, there isn't enough net for multiple windows so I suggest doubling up on your orders.

I wasn’t expecting much from this as all others I have had in the past have either frayed or lost stickiness. This one is much stronger and still holding up today as it was when I put it up over a month ago. I have just one criticism, and that is that the mesh could be a little finer as tiny flies, ants and crawlies still get through. However, no mosquitoes, wasps or average flies stand a chance! 😊

Brilliant fly/spider stopper, I love a breeze in the summer and fresh air in the winter but do not want spiders & flies coming in through the window. This product does exactly that, should you need to open/close the window you can do this by peeling the net off the Velcro strip and re-applying after you've opened/closed the window. The weakest points are the corners, although the self adhesive backing to the Velcro strip is strong enough in most places it tends to peel a little at the corners so I have just applied a dot of superglue to these areas and its done the trick.Its easy to leave your window open more regularly with this product so I would recommend purchasing a cable security lock to stop potential burglaries.
