REVIEW: 500g New Season Macadamia Halves Non GMO No Irradiation
Being an ex-South African I'm very familiar with macadamias. This batch is still edible & crisp but starting to show the sign's of staleness via a classic stale smell that from experience, I'm very familiar with -- not a good sign.A once-off quality issue? I have no way of knowing at this point. The package labelling actually has GMO written on the back of it which I only discovered on delivery. But, nice to have it confirmed via this review-request that it's actually non-GMO as I avoid GMO products. Can't add more here, but, will be trying other brands going forward.

Halves, none broken. Pale cream colour. Crunchy. Seem very fresh.
Back in October 2023 a reviewer complained that these macadamia nuts were broken, not halves as advertised. Now in March 2024 I want to put the record straight. The nuts I received are halves without exception. You could not ask for better quality.I regret they are so expensive (roughly twice what I pay for almonds or Brazils) but that seems to be standard for macadamias.
