Buy these. Keep them in your freezer. Pull them out when you need help with pain. I love them. They’re in a protective covering so they do not leak.. It’s a very big help for my back pain.

This product works!
This works well heated or cold. Ive used it almost every day for about 6 weeks. Every time I put it back in the box I find myself bring it back out to use again. This was a replacement I inherited from my Mom & I know she used it for years.

What's hot and what's not.
If you zap it in a microwave once per day or so, expect it to last around a year before it turns solid and becomes unuseable. Before that time, the flexibility starts out almost liquid and gradually gets harder. I have never found a use for the velcro strap, as I only use this with heat, and the strap would cause the pad to press solidly against me, which makes the heat painful in a short amount of time. Other than that, useful size, not too heavy, does the job. Keep an eye out for sales then buy several is my advice.

Comfort in the shape of Clay 💖
I cannot live comfortably without these. I have three and I'm keeping my eye out for a price drop to pick up another one. I keep one in the freezer at all times and one ready to be heated in the microwave. They can absolutely be used interchangeably as a hot/cold pack, but I prefer to designate them for one or the other. Years ago I somehow contorted my neck on a flight to visit a friend and was offered this to give me some pain relief. I was so happy to find the exact same one on Amazon. This has some weight to it because it's clay so be aware of that if the heaviness would be a concern for you to lift or bear the weight of on an ankle or wrist. I love that the added weight helps it stay put and conform to the area I place it on, but it might not work for you. The included pouch and velcro wrap came in handy when I hurt my ankle and it does give a nice barrier if it's initially too cold. I've used mine for years and I've never had an issue, they're very durable and I love the hot/cold option over traditional ice packs and heating pads.

A must for aching muscles.
Works great hot or cold. Velcro strap is a huge help to secure the pad to area you are focusing on. This is a replace for one I had for years. Still the same great quality. The only hot/cold pad we use.

Versatile
I bought the smaller size of this hot/cold pack years ago from my local RiteAid store. It was on sale & I thought, why not. I have lower back issues & since you can either microwave it or freeze it, I found that really appealing. First time I used it I nuked it in the microwave & used it on my back. I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed hot for a really long time. (Stays cold for a really long time too!) It’s flexible, you can actually mold it to the area of your body that you’re using it on. It’s not like your average gel pack ones, it’s made with some sort of flexible clay, which keeps it hotter or colder longer than your average gel filled packs! When I got my 1st one I wished I had bought a second one. Fast forward a few years & I was using it on my back & looking for something else on Amazon, & the thought hit me: I wonder if Amazon has this, they have everything else! That’s when I got my second one, same size as my 1st one. Now a few or so months later I get this message to write a review. Which got me to thinking, do they make bigger sizes & they do! I just ordered the biggest size one! As far as durability goes, I believe I’ve had my 1st pack for around 6 years or so & I still have the original cloth cover that came with it too! I guess you’ve come to the conclusion that I’m a big fan of this product! I hope this was somewhat helpful to those of you that are interested in this product!
