I ordered this ‘Aaiov RV Electric Awning Replacement Motor 12V Compatible with Carefree Eclipse Power Awnings’ to fix the sluggish awning motor on my motorhome. What attracted me to this item was the fact it was 1/4 of the cost of the OEM motor.This is a great replacement motor for your powered Carefree Eclipse awning. I find it’s every bit as good as the original motor was. It operates smoothly and has enough power to extend and retract the awning quickly. It doesn’t struggle like my old motor did.Installing this ‘Aaiov RV Electric Awning Replacement Motor 12V Compatible with Carefree Eclipse Power Awnings’ was moderately difficult. There were no real included instructions as to how to actually replace motor. But I did find what I needed on YouTube. Just make sure you have the right tools.In summary, I’m very happy with this ‘Aaiov RV Electric Awning Replacement Motor 12V Compatible with Carefree Eclipse Power Awnings’. It works well and is only a quarter of the price of an OEM replacement motor. I don’t know how long it will last, but I’m happy now. I just wish there were better instructions included.

The canopy on my Monoco Windsor motorhome would deploy, but would not wind back up. I had to get on a ladder and help it roll back up. I took a gamble and bought this motor, hoping it would solve the problem. Behold, it did!!! Only 3 bolts with spacer hold it in place so replacement was simple. I have only used it a dozen times so longevity has not yet been determined, but I am hopeful. And it was cheaper to buy this motor than to buy a used part that may or may not work. So I am happy with it.

Perfect replacement for carefree motor. It’s a simple motor so this price is about what you’d think is fair. Bolted in, plugged in, worked perfect.
