The paper itself is really thin and if you have anything underneath your paper you will able to see it but it is good quality. Both my copics and other alcohol markers go down really well on the paper and there isn't much bleeding and it won't mark any pages underneath either.I will say that it is value for money and its great for drawing/colouring characters. I wouldn't recommend it if you are are going to use it for selling prints on as it is so thin but for practice drawings or using for drawing characters and scanning it onto your computer its really good.One thing to be mindful of is that because it is so thin its easy to accidentally scrunch up/crinkle the paper when using rubbers.

This is very white and smooth paper, which is lovely for calligraphy, both with dip pens and brush pens. It's not as transparent as I imagined it might be but it is lovely to write on and I would be very keen to buy more of it.

Great paper to use.

This is a great pad that I am using with Copic markers. Paper is thin, it have coating on one side, so it doesn't stain underlying pages, but as a result you can only sketch on one side. Which is ok for me, as alcohol based markers bleed through any paper I used before and stains underlying pages. What I do is to build my own sketchbook with this paper, gluing together pages with the coated side. with 70g thickness, joining two pages creates balanced page thickness and I can fit good number of pages in my custom made sketchbook.

It does state 70 thickness I guess but I didn’t really realise as I never saw something labelled marker paper that did perform as I’m used to, that it could show the black marker on the other side. If that is not an issue for you it might be fine. It doesn’t bleed but I need it to stay on one side. Can’t really use it for so much I normally would but I’ll read the spec next time

The last pad I bought was the Canson one for markers which was cheaper than this product. However it seems to be no longer stocked. After loads of time consuming research I opted for this product. It’s smooth, very white and can be used without colours pooling or bleeding through to the other side. Perfect. It would help if there was a simple chart with the description of paper pads showing what pens they can be used for. Most pads titled ‘Calligraphy paper’ or ‘Calligraphy practice pad’ are NOT SUITABLE for brush pens.

At first glance, this pad seems expensive, but when compared to the prices charged by other sellers, it's a really good price. Also, it has 100 sheets whereas most others have only 50, and taken sheet for sheet, this pad is great value. It's very good for calligraphy practise.
