Would recommend! Nice design, well packaged & less prone to denting than the bigger Brabantia bins
I was deliberating over which kitchen bin to get for ages. I ordered and sent back a few ranging from the big 60L and 36L Brabantia pedal bins to the Joseph Joseph caddy bins will the two drawers (one for general waste and one for recycling with a little food caddy tucked inside the top shelf). I had to return all of them for one reason or another. The huge 60L Brabantia was so poorly packaged and as others had experienced arrived dented. Even if it wasn't dented it was a bit of a beast and wasn't all that aesthetically pleasing in my kitchen. So that went straight back! The 36L was a better size but looks/design was still wasn't doing anything for me and seemed too small, even though the capacity was almost double the 20L I ended up buying. They just weren't for me.Next I opted for the tall Joseph Joseph bins that retail for about £170. I got it on Prime Day and when it arrived I absolutely loved it. It was too tall for where I'd planned to put it but I would have kept it and put it elsewhere but the drawers were so small it was ridiculous. Especially when the food caddy was fitted so that went back.I never thought I would buy a 20L bin as a kitchen bin as I would have said it was far too small. On Prime Day they were on offer at £42 and in a colour that I thought would look lovely in my kitchen so I bought two, intending to use one for recycling. Packaging was so much better than the large Brabantia bins and they somehow feel sturdier and stronger so that they wouldn't dent anyway. They don't slip and slide across the floor, close slowly and silently and I never ever in a million years though a bin would bring me so much joy! Has an inner bin that is easy to remove and give a quick wipe with an antibacterial wipe if needs be and which makes it easy to insert the bin liners and line the tine handles up so it's not a messy job. They are so much better than the 36L and 60L rectangular Brabantia pedal bins and although we haven't bothered using the second one for recycling, we kept it anyway and just have two smaller bins in the kitchen. Seems to be working really well for us and most people assume one of them is for recycling. I love the Brabantia Size Y bags that are designed for the bin, although they are quite difficult to source. Eventually managed to find them on here for £6.50 for 20. It's expensive, but to be honest they make life that much easier when emptying the bin it doesn't feel like a hassle or a chore anymore so I'm happy to pay for the ease and convenience and the fact they stop the bin from getting sticky and generally filthy inside. I would highly recommend these bins. I'm sure they will last us for years to come, but when they do eventually need replacing I will buy again.

Excellent
You really can't beat Brabantia bins. There's nothing not to like about them. They are sturdy and good looking. Come with a 10 year guarantee!. I definitely recommend buying the Brabantia bin bags, they are strong and fit perfectly with no ugly overhang, and no more expensive than decent supermarket brands. Yes, I know you can get a roll of 10 or more for £1 in Poundland, but how flimsy are they?!

Really pleased
Really pleased with it. There really are well designed elements to this bin, like the way there's gaps in the 'frame' of the bin to make lifting out the metal inner bin easier, the gentle quiet closing mechanism of the lid, solid foot pedal, and the nice shiny finish. I used the three free brand bin liners, then tried usual black bin liners and have ended up buying their brand ones again as they really are designed well for the bin. Only thing I'm not enjoying about it (which isn't a deal breaker) is that it is difficult to keep tarnishing marks off the shiny lid. I would still highly recommend.

Useful sized Brabantia bin
Really useful bin. I keep ours in the utility room and feel it is a good size. I don’t like the bIns larger than this as I don’t like to keep rubbish inside them too long as they can smell when the lid is lifted. I think it is a good idea that the lid is soft closing too. This is an updated version of my previous Brabantia bin which I’ve had for years and I’m sure this one will last a long time too.

So delighted with this bin
Oh my goodness, we are so chuffed with this bin. We had always purchased cheap bins in the past and always instantly regretted it. So, this time we decided to purchase a more expensive, higher quality bin. Now, I realise that theis is just a bin..... You throw your rubbish in it. But, it is a top quality bin. The design, shape and colour is lovely and the actual stability of the body is strong, sturdy and so easy to use. The foot pedal actually feels substantial and stable which hopefully that means it won't break after 100 uses. It's super easy to clean, the size and shape is perfect for our kitchen and all in all we are delighted with it. The lid opens smoothly with a soft closure. The bin arrived perfectly and we had great service from Barbantia. Super happy with this bin and I'd highly recommend to anyone to buy a better quality bin.

Cute quality bin
I purchased this 3ltr bin for the bathroom, petite but just the right size for tissues & cotton wool buds, sturdy and solid but stylish (if you can call a bin stylish?) and really easy to use and clean. That said I purchased it 4.5 years ago and it’s still going strong and looks as good as when I purchased it.I have a Brabantia 12ltr bin in the kitchen, that I purchased nearly 8 years ago, it is used constantly and again still going strong. Only sign of wear is a slight dent on the lid where I dropped something on it.I am a real fan of Brabantia bins, although a bit pricey when you buy them, they last for years and years.
