Brilliant !! I wanted something cool to re-cover my 14 year old Son's headboard ! I looked at buying a new one (£70+) and then at faux leather but then found this and it looks brilliant ! 1 meter was enough to cover his double headboard and at the fraction of the cost of a new one which I wasn't keen on.The material is thick and quite stiff so as to be able to full it taut and mould round the corners I washed the denim first and then stapled it on slightly damp, this way it was more flexible.

Quite thick
Denim was a bit too thick for my needs but good quality used for craft project good size and good value

Good quality 8oz cotton denim
Objective review......Ordered 2m, got a safe 2m.Measured and weighed it: it is an 8oz denim.Burned some fibres: it is pure cotton.Cut square then washed, hung dry and ironed: 'twisted' by about 2inches which is totally normal but indicates why you need to launder before sewing up.Subjective review....Made some sturdy, hard wearing and nice looking jeans with it.Slightly paler than I was hoping given the description 'indigo'.After several washes, colour has faded uniformly and as per any normal jeans I've owned before.

Decent fabric
Ive bought this few times and made loads with it from a coat to different styleof trousers ie capri and full lengthtrousers in different styles.Easy fabric to sew. Its a nice dark navy colour denim and has a decent weight without being rigid.

It is not the heavy denim that i was hoping to patch my old jeans. It's thin and a totally different weave. Waste of money!!!!

Not ''Heavy" denim or Indigo Blue...
The fabric I have recieved was neither heavy nor blue. Its a weird rigid rough textured fabric that I would describe as more dark grey with a hint of blue. Its about half the weight of what I would consider "Heavy" denim so feels more like a medium weight cotton. Also to colour is not as solid as the picture would indicate with the white threads clearly visibly on the topside.

Not as heavy duty as I would have liked
I am pleased with the colour of this denim and the delivery was sooner than expected but if you want a really heavy denim then this is not the one to go for. Adequate for my purposes - would you believe, making a handy roll up pocketed nail case for my son for work (not for his fingers!) and the remains will come in handy for patching his jeans which he will be grateful for. Not bad for the price.
