Toyota Oil Filter Houding.
Going to give this 5 stars. Haven’t installed yet. Will do it in 4000 miles. What I see is I don’t have to swap out anything from the original plastic. My dealer in Vegas didn’t have this part. Parts girl had a confused look when I asked and supplied the part number. Toyota truly failed for not installing g this from the factory. He’ll add another $50 to the price of the vehicle.

Solid
Tolerances are tight. The black socket is great as well. Seems durable and well made. Recommend it.

Perfect
OEM fit for a 2012 tundra 5.7 I did have to change the inside tube out for mine in my plastic one but it’s still great quality

Fixed cracked, over torqued plastic one
Bought used Gen 2 Tundra SR5, 5.8 liter, 4x4. Had a oil drip caked all over skid plate. Figuring the original plastic housing had been overtorqued by IDGITS so ordered this replacement. After stressful removal of old one and PROPERLY TORQING the new one...I have no oil leaks.

OEM so you can't go wrong
Replaced the original plastic one with this metal one. I prefer metal since I do oil changes often on my truck. I have no idea why Toyota thought this was a good cost saving decision. It seems fishy to me that they sell the truck with a plastic one, then offer this metal one as an aftermarket. It's shady business practice in my opinion, but I like their vehicles, since they last. The price is a little high but not unreasonable, considering the tool and cap, and filter all come in the kit.

Great upgrade for my tundra
Replaced my broken plastic one with this for my 2014 Tundra 1794 5.7l flex fuel. Not more stressing if the plastic one will break again or not. Solid piece!
