If I could give zero stars I would! This is just an expensive piece of junk. I bought it 2 years ago to print badges for a group of 45 people. After the initial 45 I had to replace maybe 1 or 2 every few months. Today I tried to print and there is a black line down the middle. I reached out to their customer support and they said the element in the printhead was bad and my warranty is up. The cost of a new printhead is almost the same at the printer cost. Of course I will have to get a new badge printer but I will never buy from Magicard again.

I received my printer (Bodno Pronto) in a well-packaged box. It was very self-explanatory in the setup but for some reason I kept getting error messages. I contacted the customer service folks and was “paired with” Jude. Jude worked with me patiently and totally thoroughly and identified the preliminary problem. With Jude’s help I printed the first ID card. It seemed very dark and I said I thought it would do. The second ID would not print at all. Jude was determined that the print be great. He continued to trouble shoot and due to my commitments I had to continue the process on another day. I received a message that Bodno determined the machine needed to be replaced. In less than a week I received a new machine along with postage paid method to return the faulty one. The new Bodno Pronto is PERFECT for my needs. The ID cards are stunning! I hope that Bodno keeps Jude as their customer service and tech support! Bodno stands behind their products! Great doing business with them.

The perfect solution for a small business owners - Highly recommend this printer for all of your small business needs - well worth the price but if you intend to use these with a lanyard recommend getting the hole punch in advance (I forgot to order mine up front)I recently purchased this for my kayak rental business to produce membership and partner cards for guests/customers & our partner network to use when booking on our behalf (they can scan a QR code on their card to book!). Will be posting an unboxing and a video of some of my final products (will post here & YouTube). Takes about 10-20 minutes to set up depending on how clean of an area you are setting it up. I needed to make a few adjustments on my end, but it literally takes no time at all to actually set up.Overall the printer was a 5 out of 5 - Very easy to use, very clean & easy instructions make setting up the printer idiot proof.Was easily able to design and print my cards via the Bronze software package. I think they undersell the software - very easy to use and it does everything I was looking to do. I can easily create my own cards, however I want to, whether using their out-of-the-box templates or creating the cards from scratch. Really happy with the overall ease of use.Only reason it was not a 5 out of 5 - I did need to contact customer support about some of the out-of-the-box printing quality. For some reason my cards were not printing as dark as the quality assurance card that comes with the box. Honestly grateful they provided that card because I would have been a little disappointed otherwise. I think there might be some tweaks on the software side they need to make to improve this (I'm sure they will figure it out in no time). In the meantime, I reached out to technical support and WITHIN MINUTES they were back to me and incredibly warm and polite. Figured out a way to make the images sharper and I'm off to making optimized cards!To John who helped me navigate some of these slight challenges when first using the printer - YOU ARE AWESOME. Seriously, you got back to me so timely - from the second I initially passed over my inquiry to the time you got back to me - as we were figuring this thing out - I couldn’t believe it - the speed to getting back to my issues were out of this world. Then you walked me through each step patiently, though it took us a while to figure out best next steps you weren’t ready to give up. You ultimately figured it out and now my cards are optimized. Absolutely stunning.Did we have to use some cards in the process? Sure - did it take us some time to figure out? Sure. But the fact that you didn’t even bat an eye at next steps & just the overall experience I had - was by far one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had and you deserve applause. You taught me so much about the printer in the process, like I said, couldn't have had a better experience. I will be buying and servicing all of my card needs through you, wherever you go I’m there man.Thanks again for all of your help and I look forward to working with John and the folks at Magicard again very soon. This works amazing! I have been making name badges for a networking organization, printing names and logos on clear labels and then sticking them to a blank white badge. It has been frustrating and the name badges have come out like garbage - crooked, easily smudged, etc. This is an expensive printer but the quality is amazing!!! It did take an hour to set up but I didn't know what I was doing. Now I'm printing and I'm super happy with the quality!

i bought this to use in a camp where i would be printing hundreds of cards over 8 weeks, and within the 1st few days i realized my mistake, it started crashing whenever i sent to many cards at once, and i had to sit there and feed one card in at a time, and agter a while the quality starting getting worse and it started taking longer to print each card, about 1 minute for each side, so if your looking for a card printer for a small office or for printing a few cards every so often than this works, but if your looking to print alot of cards at once, then i would suggest you look for a different one that is made for that like the primacy 1 or 2 which is about $2000, but otherwise this one would do the job.
