Light weight & Long lasting
Super light weight and perfect for when you are on your feet all day, and did I mention they are completely WATER PROOF! Stepped in huge mud/water puddle and make my feet wet at all!

Very nice slip on
These are very comfy, there are a little wide in the toe area which is good for my feet. Nice arch support and well crafted.

Great with one exception
I wilderness camp more than the average outdoor person and like to use the Keen variations on their Jungle Moc theme. This appealed to me because of the lining. It appears it'll work out. It has all the plusses of its siblings, but the one drawback. These shoes want to wear away your skin around the entry rim, especially the top of the tongue. Breaking them in helps somewhat. Yes, I could wear socks but that negates some of the convenience. They certainly roomy enough to add socks. But, they are bulletproof with good traction, so I'll live with the warts.

Sizing is odd
The 3rd pair I ordered was the fit I needed.I was 10.5. The 10.5 I ordered had my feet swimming in them. Ordered a 10. Still, the 10 was too big. Ordered a 9.5 and they came in spot on. Perfect fit. And, with that I can say they're great. I've 3 other pair of Keens from shoe to hiker to work boot and all are 10.5. Go figure. Nevertheless these Brixen are break in free for me. Easy on and off. Pretty good support. I hiked all over Ireland in them and kept dry in drizzles to rain blowing sideways. Lugs on bottom are easy to clean and provided good grip except on slime covered river rock(totally came out from under me, should've known better). I'd buy em again when these wear out welcome12/25/24- These have still been great for easy use( around house, walking, out n about). The initial trip with lot of walking/hiking proved themselves good. I am a tradesman but I'd never wear these on the job. They're just Not a Work boot, never will be, although they're right at home in a tractor. I don't care if they've the caution triangle on them or not- Def not steel or composite toe. I do use them a lot. Boots or dress shoes come off and these go on. Maybe I got lucky on the quality, maybe not but, I've no splits, seam breaks nor sole parts flapping around. I'd def buy again.

You could do worse
Shoes are very good at keeping your feet dry in low wet grass, but they are heavier than most boots out there.

Between Keen Slip Ons
I bought the Keen Brixen and the Keen Targhee III Slip on at Amazon’s try it before you buy. Although the Targhee III is easy in my ankles, the width on the toe box was too narrow for my wide feet and was just too tight overall. Perhaps, if Keen offer the Targhee III on a half size bigger it would be perfect for me. Cause the grip on this shoe is good. The Keen Brixen on the on the other hand had this grip on my ankles that did not feel right at first. But of course like any shoe, one has to wear it the whole day to make a decision. After a while I got use to the ankle grip of the shoe. Over all, this shoe is wider than the Targhee III and it feels like your wearing Crocs but more protection. Although the Targhee III has more grip on wet surfaces, I think you have to wear the Brixen for a day so that the rubber has time to kind a heat up for good grip. Personally, I work as a Dialysis Nurse in a hospital and I’m always on my feet dragging large dialysis equipment and getting my shoe wet. So getting the sole of the shoe hot is never a problem for me. Additionally, my feet are not sore from working 18 plus hours in the hospital I work in. My two cents for two slip on shoes Keen offers is that if your feet is not so wide and you want the fit to be snug then go for the Targhee III. But if your feet are overtly wide get the Brixen. I guess, everybody’s anatomy is just different. The Keen Brixen just works best for people like myself. As far as the durability, let’s see in 6 months to a year. Hope it does not give too soon especially I use this shoe everyday to work and during my off days. Over all I’m pleased with Brixen but I wish that Keen had offered this shoe with orthotic insoles not the insulated heat thing that was included in the shoe. But I would definitly buy this shoe again. Just need to buy an insole for it.

Amazing right out of the box!!
I opened the box and put them on and they fit perfectly just like the other 4 Keen styles I have bought new in the last year since buying 2 pairs at Goodwill. I must say I am hooked on the Keen shoe and boot line with plenty great support plenty of toe room!! You cannot go wrong with these slip on shoes with the rubber toe guards, comfort, foot support and a great value for the money!!
