India to UK Travel Tourist Adaptor Converter Mains Plug

Amazing find! My mum has been banging on about finding this sort of adapter for years for some appliance she brought abroad and my dad has bought countless adapters (all completely the wrong type!). When I came across this was a great find, value for money, works well and does the job!

I bought this adapter to work with a mixer grinder that I had bought from India and the adapter fits tightly and works properly. The adapter does seem over priced though. We have been using it for over a month now and I can recommend this product.

This adaptor is well made and does it's job perfectly, but can be obtained for half the price from many hardware stores and some larger supermarkets.

Needed to use a mixer bought from India which had a 3 pin plug. 3 pin adaptors in shops were smaller than what would fit the mixer plug above and I bought this product which fitted and worked perfectly.

Not 5 stars for its price. Its priced too much. Should have been 2£ or less. The quality is ok - the earth pin is jerky.Package is very poor - just a sticker tape of the adaptor to the inside of box.Have got no individual packaging and sold loose.These plugs costs around 10 Rs / 20 Rs in India, means 0.10£ / 0.20 £.Good thing is perfect adaptor for mixer / other Indian electricals. Have got safety protection - allows 3 pin plug only. 2 pin plug can be inserted but tricky.

Was desperate to try out my roti maker from India and could not find this anywhere else. Worked perfectly with no problems, apart from the fact that the roti maker itself is a total waste!

good for basic use. I haven't tried it on heavy wattage appliances but for that price its well worth even as a travel adapter

Perfect fit for a 3 pin Indian plug, if you are using 2 pin plug you need to use a third pin in order to open the 2 pin socket, but it works perfect. Good quality product.
