This works great and the magnet is very strong. It took me a bit to figure out how to get it to attach to the vent clip, but once I did it works great. It is a bit adjustable to the angle that it's sits so you can move it around a bit to work best for you.

This is the best thing I’ve purchased in a long time. Years ago, I purchased one that used adhesive to stick to the dash of my car and came with a piece that adhered to the cell phone case. Which worked well, until I needed to replace my phone case. I could not find replacement pieces to purchase. Therefore, the old one became useless and was still stuck on the car looking ugly. I was interested in this one because it isn’t as permanent. This one clips right into the air vent. It is easy to screw in and get in a position where it holds itself in place. It is easy to unscrew it and pull it out and move it to other vehicles. The magnet is very strong. I have been able to use it with phone cases that don’t have the magnetic ring built into the case. The magnet seems to be strong enough to go through a standard non-magnetic case. Once the phone is hooked to the stand, you can easily tilt and turn your phone in lots of positions; up, down, left, right. I can turn on my GPS on my phone where I can see it while I’m driving. My husband can easily tilt the phone, his direction in the passenger seat and look at the directions as well. Very strong and stable. I have never felt like it’s going to fall off the vent. I will be re-purchasing this item for all of our vehicles. I may even be buying some to give away is Christmas gifts.

I do like this because it has a strong magnet but it has randomly fallen off my air vent twice now

If there is anything to dislike, the assembly instructions were a bit confusing, but it was easy and obvious to me how to put it together and on my car vent without them.I was in the fence about getting it because I have a leather wallet-type folding iPhone case, so it’s quite thick and other reviews claimed the magnets are weak. For less than $9, I decided it was worth taking a chance on this holder. I used one of the two magnetic rings that came with it and my phone doesn’t budge when I’m driving because the magnets are so strong. Unlike my previous holder, it’s not bulky. It’s also flexible, allowing me to mount it vertically or horizontally without having to adjust the holder. It pops right off when I want to remove it and magnet on my case stays securely in place.I bought the black one because it was cheaper and I figured you can’t see the color once the phone is attached anyway. I don’t think I can beat the value I got for my money, but even if I had to pay more for this cell phone holder, I’d still purchase it and consider it worth every penny. So glad I took a chance on this cell phone holder!

i had a different vent clip from 5 below that truly worked amazing, but i got a new phone case and the magsafe was too big for the other clip but this clip works great! first want to start off by saying it’s not the traditional clip for vents but it does work! you screw the ridged piece to extend this hook in and out and adjust to your vent. i have a magsafe phone case and this sticks like glue, i didn’t even need to apply the glue on magnets they give with the clip. i also like that this works directly with the case rather than needing to place or glue on those separate magnets. it is a bit bulky rather than being flush with the dash, but i guess it does give a good air flow for the vent rather than the phone being super hot or ice cold. overall this product is great and due to the case being the magnet itself i see this lasting a long time! not sure how long the separate magnets that come with the clip will hold up tho!

I’ve been looking for a durable mount for months! I didn’t want one to go on my dash due to the sun here in the south would kill the tape quick and I didn’t really want to have one that I would have to reach for on the windshield.. I have a fear of the phone dropping while I drive 🤦🏽‍♀️I took a shot of purchasing this one after reading reviews, one of my vents are broken due to trying to attach an old mount & it broke off the vent flaps..I opened this mount to the furtherest it would open and tried to apply it to the inside vents of my broken one & it fits perfectly! It’s sturdy and isn’t going anywhere! (I did this because I didn’t want it to be noticable of the broken look of that vent.. & it’s closer to me while driving. shhh 🤫 lol don’t judge me)This sums up to say the depth of this little mount is awesome if you’re worried if it’ll fit. You can have it to fit the regular vents & the inside part of the vent if your flaps are missing like one of mine are..Stability and durability is 10 for me with this mount. I have a iPhone 10 with a case on, I did have to use the magnet ring, which is totally fine as it compliments my phone case and it’s not bulky.. I never even notice it’s on my phone while I’m texting or on a call.Finally, I can say I have a mount that I trust ☺️🤗Thank you!
