This is definitely living up to be the gag gift I bought it for. Opened to test it before passing it on to make sure it worked and it is just too funny and cute. Wish you could buy more LPs for it. A good one for the man who has everything twice.

I like this, but wasn't quite ready for how Teeny/Wee it actually is. I've not removed the tag for the batteries to see if it works or not, mainly due to other reviews warning of it going off by itself at random. So it's just a display piece, and I'm very happy with that. It makes my other (fake) record coaster player and my real record deck look SO huge! By the way, that is a normal 5" CD in the photo, not a 3" one.Quality is just fine - especially for the modest price - and the 'records' have grooves on them - well, not real grooves, but lookalike grooves. My only complaint (and it's a very minor one) is that the little booklet is a a bit stiff/delicate/fragile, and if I open it properly I'm worried I may damage it - i.e. the spine may go.Yes, as you can tell, I'm a sucker for gadgets/gimmicks, and this is a welcome addition to the collection.

I wasn't really expecting the sound on the player to be perfect as it is small but the sound was very crackly and booming! It also comes on randomly like other reviewers have said. It's a nice idea but could be made better.

Ideal gift for vinyl lover but battery lasts no time at all.

What a fantastic gift, so quirky and cute. It was a real hit and kept both adults and children's entertained for ages. Really loud too!
