Does bring the squirrels out
I hunt grey squirrels using a catapult in UK woodland.This does work, but its not a miracle squirrel attractor, and requires a bit of practice.You can make a bark sound by hitting the top of the bulb, make a distressed squeak by covering the end, and a chatter by holding the tube and shaking.The chatter effect, combined with a squeak seems to be most effective at bringing the squirrels in to have a look.All in all, it's worth having and it'll bring squirrels out to investigate, but its not essential, and I wouldn't go back for it if I forgot it, and its definitely no substitute for learning to quietly stalk grey squirrels in their environment and learning how they behave.

Easy to use
Easy to use and produce a good sound. Plenty of online videos on how to use it but for british squirrels it's best to listen to a couple of British ones then try to mimic them with the call

Not working so far.
It’s simple to use but after 3 outings in the woods near a constantly filled feeder it doesn’t bring any squirrels in. Now maybe there were none in the vicinity at the times of my visits but so far I’ve no evidence of success. Update…..used now many times and it’s a waste of time so save your money and don’t buy.
