Great quality budget instrument
Nicely made - more like a real instrument (which it is) than a cheap toy. The wooden block is properly radiused and finished, the tines are also well finished. Pretty much in tune as delivered but easy to if needed. Lovely tone and as easy or complex to play as you make it.

What a great little instrument!
I'm not much of a musician but this Kalimba is easy to pick up and a great stress reliever. You can play it loud or quiet too, which is great for me as I live in close quarters with others!The build quality is fantastic, it's really sturdy for the price and everything is in tune too!

Meinl Magic!
Even though I've had this for less than a day, I love it!It has a lovely sound and feel and I can't wait to experiment further.I've checked it with my uke tuner and all of the tangs sound OK and are in tune.There are books available (even with this model on the cover) but they are tuned differently.There are instructions on Youtube on how to retune if needed but I'm going to leave it as if for the moment.While you get a great sound holding it in your hand, it sounds different if you hold it on different wooden surfaces.My coffee table is now an acoustic amp!... and if I hold it on my uke or cajon It sounds different/louder/richer again!Simple Magic!

Bought this after much researching and deliberation to find the best budget kalimba. It has a beautiful sound, is easy to play and feels comfortable in your hands. The wood is a really lovely quality too. A great gift for any music lover!

So so happy with my purchase, absolutely love it! After endless research and watching online demos I decided to go for this little instrument. Really easy to play… well tuned with clear tone and a lot lot louder than I had expected. Very comfortable in the hands. Very well made.Highly recommend!!
