Alto Live 1604 - audio mixers (20 - 20000 Hz)

Wow what an excellent mixing desk, was a bit tricky to figger out what does what but once I got there it was pretty straight forward, good choice. Sound quilty is excellent, plenty of in's and outs. The eq shelf has a good range on it. Would highly recommend

Well, as someone who used to have a recording studio, I was nervous about something so cheap. The first one that arrived did have a fault, the Alesis FX were just dead, but they exchanged. They have a great aftercare service. This desk, which we are using for a five piece band with four vocals and three acoustic instruments, is just great, we do medium sized gigs. Volume gain, eq, pan pots all fantastically sensitive, one small niggle is that the lowest setting on both echo FX produce a very long echo, but in the context of the band at full tilt this does not seem to matter. I wouldn't kick it around, I bought a flight case which it fitted into, unfortunately you have to buy separate Meccano style brackets as there are no screwholes on the desk itself but in the end, as it works ok flat down we just used sticky Velcro to stop it sliding about.

Nice 16/4 mixer. Works perfectly in my project studio. I use it to sub-mix a few synths, line inputs from bass and guitar, a couple of mics and then use the subs to send to the Focusrite 20/20. So far it hasn't given me any problems. It looks neat. Sliders feel good. Pots are loose but not slack.

I decided to upgrade my studio as I wanted to improve my audio output. This mixer is running a few peripherals and does it all very nicely. I've got a couple of CD players, and other items connected. The sound quality is amazing. I love sound production. The Alto makes an excellent job of playing my audio sources, and I love the mic phantom setting, included, via a switch on the Alto's back panel. I bought a condenser mic. That runs exceptionally well. Much better than my older dynamic mic. I'm so pleased with the sound quality. If anyone asked, I'd advise them to get one of these mixers. Mate of mine recommended this one to me.

Excellent service excellent product terrific mixer for the price ?

I'm a karaoke and disco DJ and use it for my mixing of music output and line output. The mic pre-amp is now a must for me. For the money It'll be hard to find anything better, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.
